Department of legal services? Sounds all Indian to me and spoke of my mom address not mine I hung up they called again and then hung up on me Wtf?

James Harris, Dept. of Legal Affairs, U.S.Treasury, with some dumb thing where he says there is a "legal" situation with the "account" of someone who hasn't lived at this address since 2004.

Voice mail from James Harris from legal affairs. Almost the exact same meeage I got last month from someone else also claiming to be from the department of legal affairs about an "enforcement" on my account. Even said i should have my legally retained attorney call for me.

Message left for someone who had not lived at this number in over 10 years, caller purporting to be Jamie Harris from Department of Legal Affairs concerning a legal mess asking he be called back and suggesting person named use a legal attorney as  legal proceedings was being processed against named party .

No company or actual law office named, whose legal department was caller representing? Area code is for Los angeles but carrier is Ymax Corp who own magic jack call believed to be fraud attempt.

Just got a call from this number , same story, trying to scare you!  I hate to say it , but if they have that type of accent, you should know it is a scam... and people wonder why stereotypes exist.  
The best thing to do is waste their time on the phone for a while and them insult them and hang up so they won't want to keep doing it to others.  Kind of a Pavlov behavior experiment.

Called and stated that there was a open investigation from US. TREASURY regarding unpaid taxes CASE#WA-5802563.

Regarding taxes from 2007-2008

Only info about our identity was address, names, and home number. Had no other info and spoke with middle eastern accent. Sound like a call center in the room. First person that we talked to was not an officer and then transferred to officer. Informed us that we can opt to pay or go to the next step. Which we were told we would get arrested be held in jail for 6 months with no bail. Blah Blah Blah. Then he said if you have to further question he hung up.

Got same exact call today from  #213 437 6848  and they even go as far as saying they are coming to arrest you at home.
Heavy accent with some baloney about unpaid taxes from 2009.  After 'googling' the number and finding the scam - we called THEM back several times and told them where they can put their scam.  I hope the real Treasury Dept deals with these people the right way.

I just got the same call call from Mr. Harris.  Want that the guy in the Matrix??  Same stuff, I let him say his script and he said the IRS is going to show up at my door and arrest me for 3 counts.  Tax violation, malicious something? And death.  Wow those all go together.  First call was to get me to call this number.  Then I called and spoke to (Indian) Inspector Ryan.  He said he had this info from my "Cp503" notification.  Said "US TREASURY" not "US TREASURY DEPARTMENT".

Funny part, he thought he was talking to a female party in my household, but talked to me!   SCAM, SCAM!  Give them no info!!

I received a phone call from 2134376848 stating that I need to retain an attorney and call him back.  

I got the same message.  Glad to hear that I am not alone.  Who do we report this to?

.All Of The ABOVE ....I had the guy on the phone for a half hour. Then once he got sick and tired of ME asking questions, he hung up. PLUS, "911" called me during the call.

"Ken Hale" with virtually unrecognizable accent (so southern it could scarcely be understood).  "Department of Legal Affairs, an action has been taken out against you." phone 213-437-6848 today nov 7 2014

Man calling himself "Ken Hale from Office of Legal Affairs." This was voice mail so I didn't get to speak to him.  His accent, possibly deep  deep South of US, or maybe inner city Calcutta… hard to undderstand him.  Said "legal action taken against you."  when i call the number, get a busy signal.

Received lengthy voice mail  from "James Harris" from Dept of Legal Affairs regarding action taken "against your name". After advising me to retain an attorney, his closing comments included "I hope you take it rightly" and "have a blessed day". LOL Not as slick as they think they are.

I also recieved a message from a James Harris.  When I called back I got a Steve Robinson #38462.  He advised he was with the US Treasury Department.  He had a heavy accent and there was a lot of background information and when I made him repeat his information he got irritated.  I told him I was with law enforcement and I was going to contact the FBI and report him.  He told me to go ahead and not to call back.  He then hung up on me.  Our local law enforcement agency just put out a press release about this scams going on in our area.

Got call from "Ken Fields"...same junk about calling my retained attorney and an action taken out on our name.  Scammy for sure.  Unfortunately SOMEBODY is falling for this and writing a check as we speak...otherwise they would not keep doing this crap.  Have a "blessed day" folks.  HA hahahaha!
