The guy said he was from tech support and I had a problem with my computer.   I immediately told him I did not have a cpu and how did you get my number then he hung up.

I had that windows call too.  I just let it ring now!  Most companies don't call you like that.  It's extremely annoying!!

I get them all the time, so I just answer and hang up right away so I don't have to hear the phone ring!

Just got a call from this # 5 minutes ago. Didn't answer. Instead looked it up & found this nice thread. ADDING THE NUMBER TO MY BLOCKED LIST. GALAXY NOTE 3.

Just got a call from this number, didn't answer because I don't answer number i don't know and I don't anyone in CA. They didn't leave a VM. I'm glad I googled the number. I will be blocking this number now.

4-5 calls per day with nothing when I pick up.

I set up my phone with MetroPCS service, turned off caller ID, and a person I called told me this 213 number was displayed.

Scam from a company trying to tell me that my computer is infected with a virus and that they know this as my computer is talking to their internal servers.  They requested my computer's specific IP address.  I did not give it to them and instead I asked them why they were calling they indicated that I had malware on my computer.     I asked what company they said they were calling from they indicated Techno Light Measures (thick accent so this might be off).  They repeated this and then I asked what service they were selling and what they planned on doing about it.  They then hung up on me.  Total scam! don't give out any computer information!!!!!

Instead they just waste Cray super-computer time chasing down who slept with who while capturing all our data.

It is no wonder that people in the US are kind of getting pissed at the disfunction of government, and why the odd duck Donald Trump is doing so well in the early presidential Republican polls.

Even as a Democrat, I am just as pissed as my Republican (and Independant) friends about the lack of the FCC and others chasing these scumbags down and prosecuting them for the dozens of times a month they call us.

This number call my home every day,   Mon. thru Friday.      It is a unwanted call from a Company claiming to reduce my mortgage.     I DO NOT WISH TO CONTINUE HEARING FROM THEM!!     THEY LEAVE A MESSAGE ON MY ANSWERING SERVICE DEMANDING I RETURN THERE CALL.

Call from this number: caller ID said  "19th Floor Exec". Rang once, they hung up. Guess they felt the vibe!! lol

i got this call as well. Came thru as 19 Floor Exec. I picked up (which I normally don't) but I'm sick of these calls. They addressed me by name. Asked who they were. Stated the were calling for someone running for senator in Wisconsin. Big problem. I don't live in Wisconsin. So I let him have it and told him to take me off of any all list they have. So sick of these idiots.

called on Sunday in the late afternoon. Up to no good scum. They need to be beaten and whipped and their fingers broken so they can't dial numbers and take the phone and wack them in the head.

Indicated he was from Windows.  Strange because you'd think he'd say Microsoft.  Thought was strange he was stating he needed to get into my computer because we were on internet and were corrupting Windows files at their office.  Guy stated he wanted me to get in front of my computer and help him get in so he could correct my files to further prevent corruption of files.  Hung Up.   NOONE EVER NEEDS TO GET INTO MY COMPUTER FOR ANYTHING!

That's a swell idea.  Scammers only get that one 50 times a day.  Let me guess..... "County Morgue" is up next or will you bring in the big guns and trying the old blow the whistle or boat horn?  Well, if it worked for Granny, it should work for you, right?  smh.....muggles.....

Let me give you some big tips:   First decide if you want the calls to stop, or if you want to stop the calls by taking some effective action?  Effective action means legal action and that means you will need to work and be patient  for your rewards.  Might cost you some front money too, not a whole lot, but some.  Google TCPA suits.

If you just want to stop the calls, that is easier.  Don't answer, and look into call blockers.  You don't suppose those joke names work do you?  If you do, I am wasting time.  When you answer with a joke name or a boat horn, you lose.  The scammer knows they have a Live Number, with someone who will actually pick up an unknown call.  That makes you a mark, someone to con.  You will get more and more calls.   You can google all this too.

Get real or quit.  Right now you are an amateur and this is the Pros.  And you know what?  Pro is a LOT more fun than a boat whistle or kiddie names.

I answered phone and they asked if I was ( and they said my name) and I said yes and they immediately hung up.
