Wow, called it back, said it was a reward redemption cause i visited one of their websites. I did not and how would they have gotten the number? I say block them

Called my cell phone in NY,   I ddnt answer.

LOL.  I just got the call on my cell.   Before I could answer, they disconnected.   Looked online and found this site.   I guess your response answers the questions of why 2 rings and they are constantly hanging up.    This is a landline - probably don't have an LD plan.   They call everyone and hang up so they aren't charged.   They get some  people that call them back at their own cost.

rang twice and got disconnected before I answered. looks like they are fishing for real numbers.

My guess is the it's an automated system that is dialing thousands of numbers every minute verifying to see if your phone number is active. That's why only 2 rings. If it rings then that means your number is active. They would then sell this number as an active number. They probably already have your name and other details. Simply block it.

Three rings immediately placed one right after the other on 2/4/2016. No voice mail left, caller unknown. I blocked the number.

Answered to hear "I'm sorry, that is not a valid answer" from a recorded voice. I hung up.

Two rings and no vm, I don't want to call back for fear of being called more. Apparently it's a low budget scam line. Probably works on old folks etc... Going to block.

It's the Rewards Redemption scam, they claim you won $100 gift card but want you to give them your credit card info to cover S&H fees. I got them with the JollyRoger Telephone Co Bot! (you can google it) The AI had this idiot on the line for over 5 mins while I sit here trying not to laugh coffee all over myself :-)

Apparently they called me, but my phone never rang. I only got a notification that I had a missed call.

Called this morning . Rang 2 times. I didn't even have a chance to pick up. No voicemail . Don't know any one in la CA
