The cid showed "unknown name" and phone number 213-652-8456.  They left no message.  Blocked.

Called back, there was a recording saying this number is not in use.

I said hello, automated voice said goodbye and hung up.

Got similar call form this number as all saying. No message.
On returned call, it says number is not on service.
ID check shows it is originated from a company in long distance phone service that is not BBB accredited by the name: "Onvoy Landline". Looks like an Indian owned company.
Guess it is checking the responding numbers to be sold later on to other crocks/telemarketers.

12/07/15 14:51 PST  Called just now but didn't answer because I don't know the number and there was no ID.  Got to voice mail but no message left.

I received a call from this number at 5PM this evening. The caller hung up when the answering machine picked up. The 652 prefix would mean the call supposedly originated in the Hollywood, CA area, but I suspect it's a spoofed number.

Illegal spoofed call, and illegal spoofed call = scam.  Didn't answer (I NEVER answer calls from unfamiliar numbers).  Blocked this number.

Missed the call; no message was left.

Let the answering machine get this call from an unfamiliar number. Caller didn't like my anti-telemarketer greeting, so he left me a rude message. BLOCKED. When calling back, get intercept recoding saying number not in service. Clearly a scammer who took my greeting personally. Wow, one for me!

calls never leaves a message

Caller didn't leave a message on my machine and the caller id said "Out of Area" which usually means telemarketer/scammer. So I ran 3 reverse traces using 3 different types of traces and all were blocked for a person or business name and the only information was a general location of Los Angeles, California with a service provider of Pac-West Telecomm Inc., which is favored by scammers. This is definitely a scammer that is either spoofing numbers and/or using a VoIP System to phish for personal information while running some type of a scam. A legitimate business would never hide their identity and location from the public by blocking a trace. DON'T ANSWER AND DO NOT CALL BACK FOR ANY REASON. Block and report to the proper authorities. Phone companies should be held responsible for these types of calls since they are making money from them by providing the systems and services that these scammers use and possibly farming out numbers too.

ID says: "Los Angeles CA".....  Caller ignored the screener's warning, and said / did nothing as instructed by call blocker. Call, say nothing, ignore the screener's warning, and you get blocked! All scammers and unknown, unspeaking callers get blocked forever! Good riddance!
