Claimed to be Amazon. Used my husband’s first name. Said that they needed to update my information.

Claimed to be a representative from Amazon Business asking if I was "Dr. Bob" (Bob is the owner of our company, but I don't have the voice of a man). Said that that she noticed he had opened an Amazon Business account but hadn't made any purchases yet and she NEEDED to verify his information.  I told her nice try and hung up on her!

She left a message on my boss's line. It was very hard to understand due to a heavy accent and she spoke very quickly. Our phone system picked up the phone # as "Name Unavailable". I heard "Amazon" and ended up here by searching the phone number.

Claimed to be Amazon Advisor for our company and wanted to walk me through benefits.  Kept calling me by my last name not first name

They called my manager's phone, stating He needed to update his account information.  My Manager responded "Sure ... and hung up"

Random bot call using automatic dial

Called my cell phone and left voice mail, a line of BS about a commercial account and how they could save me money on the items I order on a regular basis from Amazon. 1) We don't have a business and 2) we order from Amazon only very infrequently. Voice mail was almost unintelligible.

I hung up each time the call came through because it said, This call may be recorded. They called my number three times. My cube mate dialed the number back and received an automated message with the F-word mentioned two times. We were shocked.... it was a little funny, but shocked.

Said it was from Amazon business but I couldn't understand the first 4 times she said it. and kept asking me to verify my name. I hung up.

Same here, I can't believe it - said it two times! I called it again and put it on speaker phone for my office to hear!

Scam alert - woman with heavy Indian accent called and said she's from Amazon Business and wanted me to sign up for an Amazon Business account. She wanted to walk me through my current Amazon Business account...then she tried to get me to sign up for one with her?

The email I gave her was scammer2alert@beashamed.com and she didn't seem to understand. I should have had her read it back to me.

Hilariously, if you call the number back they swear two times in the message.

Unfortunately, Amazon shares our info with scammers.

Called me 3 times in a row, but my phone recognized it as spam so automatically declined the call. Left an almost 2 min long voice-mail about an Amazon business account while also stifling laughter through parts of it. Sus?

Claimed to be Amazon acct mgr, wanting to contact about setting up Amazon Business account. Have received this call more than 10 times.

Called and got my answering machine then hung up and called right back. This time she left a very unintelligible msg about an Amazon Business Account. She spoke very fast and the call crackled and broke up. It would've been impossible to understand her even without the call quality problem.

What does that email have to do with this phone number?
