Called. I declined the call and they left no message.

Blocked.

A robocall from Un Known about my computer being hacked and wanted access to my computer to fix it SCAM - A search shows this number to be from Los Angeles, CA. A land line using TNCI-OP-CO - CA. They keep calling using a different new number after being told to remove my number from their call list and blocked.

I received a call from 213-799-1699 and he informed me his name is james parker with a thick middle eastern accent and he wanted to help take care of my computer. Well I informed him that a middle eastern guy with the name of james parker called me about 3 hours ago from ontario and wanted to help take care of my computer. I asked him how that was possible and then he hung up the phone. weird huh.

At first I was not going to answer but I did.  The first few seconds no one was on the other end.  THEN, STEVE with the INDIAN ACCENT got on the phone.  "Ah", he thinks to himself, "I have a fish on the line."    He introduces himself as Steve, and calling about MY computer.     I told him I DID NOT HAVE A COMPUTER and then what he could do to himself. And hung up.  And blocked him.     But in retrospect, I should have kept him on the line and played along.    IF I get another call, even though he's now blocked, I WILL play along.        Also, I could tell it was a boiler room operation because of ALL THE OTHER OPERATORS IN THE BACKGROUND.

BTW, I just redialed STEVE'S number  213-799-1699,  and got a FAST BUSY.     NOT A LEGIT NUMBER/

Its a call from a scam computer repair company.  When telling a company to remove your number from their lists, they WILL keep it on and continue to call because now they know they have a "live one".   Just hang up and do not be pleasant.  You will not be hurting anyone's feelings.

Since I left the above messages earlier today, even though I blocked this caller, they STILL tried to call back.  They didn't get past the first ring and they were blocked.   So, I called them back and now their message says "you have called the wrong number".      THEY ARE ALSO PROBABLY READING THESE NOTES, SO IF THEY ARE, MAY I SUGGEST WHAT YOU CAN DO TO YOURSELF?     Since I am a woman and a lady, I will not actually say it here, but I believe everyone knows what I mean.    :)

Got oone today too and did not answer since ID said CALIFORNIA  duhhh Thanks for info all above me!!!
