Received a call from this number and they claimed to be from the US Government and I was receiving a grant, however, it is a scam.  They just wanted personal information and when I questioned the man, he kept just saying he couldn't hear me.

We just  called that number and he told us he was part of the us government grant department and just because we wouldnt pay the $200 to recieve that grant he treatened us with the cia and fbi coming to our do

called me on a weird number, another person called me and gave me a code to call back the other guy so I could get my grant.  I never called back, figured it was a scam.  they've tried to call me twice more, i just don't answer

They called me that I won grant money an to receive it but ends up I was really getting myself into a scam. Is this really a scam or did I win money?

I also received this same call which came in only as a 5 digit number. That's usually a clue that it's not a good call to receive to begin with. Next they told me that I was approved to recive a government grant to the amount of $9700. I just needed to go to a Dollar Store and get a Google card for $250 and is an authorization card to get my $9700 grant. He said that the $250 would be refundable and added on to make a total of $9950.
People listen! This is a BS lying scam. Don't give them your money. You have to qualify to get a government grant and in order to qualify, you must fill out an application and tell them what you want it for. Don't be Stupid!

its not a fake call i got my grants after paying around $2k  including all kinds of tax and charges thanks grants govt.

I don't like to be scamed.
