Called my cell, left no msg

Ya, mine too. This is the third call I have got from them in the last week. No message left.  Says call is from Los Angeles Calif.

It's Directv Marketing and promotions center.

It was Direct TV they gave me sports channel package for free.  No strings or anything just for being a customer.

Caller hung up after I answered.

That's what they said on the phone but when I called direct tv they said there were no changes made to my account I gave them the number and they said more than likely a frodgulant caller
Direct tv also said they call from 1800 numbers

Caller ID says DirecTV, which we have, so my husband answered and they hung up. Doubt it was real since not an 800#. Guess I will block this number.

Thank you. I have their CSR I think I'll call them and disconnect their service. Unhappy anyway.

Called and did not leave a message.  Direct TV generally does not call for promotions. So who's to say....????

Have received calls a number of times. For some strange reason, it does not save the number to the Numbers Called directory. I figured it was a fraud, and did not answer

Fake direct tv calls. Wants you to make changes to
Direct tv account but isn't really them. They always call from 1-800 #'s

Called and hung up. I am a DirecTV customer. Did they get a customer list?

Offered free channels just because good customer.

Caller ID ' Direct TV ' on our DNC , unpublished LAN line.

No voice mail. We do not answer or return calls to unknowns.

Everyone's notes above are right on. We've been with AT&T 35 years. AT&T does not operate this way. (No oubound phone call marketing blitzes )

My in-laws were with ATT for almost 40 years before retirement. Her sister and husband 35 years presently. My brother in laws brother 38 years. I get how AT & T operates.

They use 800 #s only. Promotions done via email with official logo etc. Or direct snail mail  promotions or mail within your bill.

I called direct TV customer service # 800-531-5000 and the representative confirmed this is a FRAUDULENT CALLER.

I believe this was a robo call because, when I answered, it disconnected almost immediately.  I'm blocking the number.

Called official att direct tv..they are not authorizing any free sport chanels for 30 days. Nor re ognize this number. Its fraudulent. Do not answer this number

I told them to send me a letter.  He said they don't do letters.  (Federal offense Mail Fraud.)

My cell phone flashed for a second, showing an in-coming call, but it was disconnected right away before my phone even rang.  Weird.

It was from an area code which is kinda close, but I rarely get legit calls from.  It all seemed fishy so I googled the number and found all these entries.
