I reported number to DTV.  Got the "not our number" and "we'll escalate the issue" responses. Looks like it's been going on for two years... And the number is still active and making robocalls.  And how many of us are DTV/ATT customers?  I think my # was given to a 3rd party for solicitation purposes though no one will admit it.  Best part is DTV offered me a "special offer" discount for the next 6 months (I think it was to appease me when I suggested I would check blogs about service providers releasing phone numbers to 3rd party marketeers.)

Caller will tell you about a package that they are offering you. I literally said - OK, Thanks, Bye. Well, I guess to DirecTV that means that you said yes and they added it to my DirectTV programming for an extra $8 a month.

Same here. We have Direct TV. I answered  yesterday, no response. Hubby answered  today...no response. Good to know Direct TV only uses 1-800 numbers. Will block his one!

FRAUD & SCAM ALERT!  We received a call from this number 213-921-4695.  They claimed to be with Microsoft and informed me that my computer was infected with viruses.  They offered to fix it via internet connection and we accepted.  We purchased their life time computer services for $500.  A few days later, they called back informing us that they needed to give me a refund because our computer was hacked.  They then attempted to refund me the money through a PayPal page.  It must have been a fake PayPal page, because I could see my name and it looked like they accidentally gave me $5000 back (instead of $500).  The scammer then said "oh no I'm going to get fired"  for making the mistake of sending too much money.  They said the $5000 would not show up in my account for several days, and requested that we pay the money back with Walmart gift cards.  We did everything we could to help fix the situation, but our refund never came through.  We tried calling them back but no answer.  We then discovered that there was an attempted purchase from India with our credit card.

Congratulations. You've won the 2017 Darwin Award. It's only 1/2 way through 2017 but we're sure no one will top this! :)

Keeps calling, if I don't answer they do not leave a message. If I answer and tell them to stop calling, they hang up.

called and said they were offering sports channel for 8 dollars a month , said it would take 24 to 48 hours to connect. Thought this was strange . called att and they said it  was a scam. They do not call customers .

NO voicemail on my unpublished DNC LAN line.  Just updating.  4th call this week.

Im a AT&T Direct TV customer.  I called the national 800# , representative showed NO CALLS were made by them to my home on file.

Let me add. I have 5 phone numbers in my tracking system that are ALLEGEDLY AT&T. Smile.

I got a call yesterday.  Sorry you are having issues. I'm assuming you were seeking a letter from AT&T that they aren't CALLING you.

Calls my home number every day at 7 PM, Shows as Directv. No one on the line. Just hangs up immediately.

Called my cell phone claiming to be from Direct TV. Mr. Kershaw claimed he wanted to upgrade me to premium channels  with sports and outdoor services I currently don't have. It would cost me 1.00  Less per month (yes he said) Less, if I said OK. I said hold a moment let me put my phone on speaker so I have a witness to hear this. He then began to talk faster & repeated same offer and he asked me to say OK which I did and he hung up in a hurry.

Caller ID showed a Los Angeles number. Male voice says he is "with DIRECTV." Said "Our records show that the account holder on file is Mr. [family member's name]..." and asked me "if that is correct." I told him that it was an inconvenient time. He has called back daily for 6 days without a message. I blocked the number. It is NOT DIRECTV.
