Received a  call from this number claiming to represent the US Treasury , lot of threatening comments.says name is steve martin and calling about an enforcement action etc. never mentioned my name or other pertinent info

I received this call today. Scared the s*** out of me.  Steve Martin was the supervisor. Spoke of issuing a warrant for my arrest. Knew nothing about me.

I just received the same type of call referring to the treasury department and an action being filed with my local majistrate. The phone call came from an LA redux but it is too early in Southern CA to be making business calls which also leads me to the fraud conclusion. Thank you everyone for posting your experiences. It's very helpful!

Just got the same thing says he is Steve Martin, I asked him if he was a wild and crazy guy. Click........

just missed a call from "steve martin " from the us treasury that im in serious financial  trouble and need to contact them rite away . this steve has called me a few times before with a different number but always the same indian voice . how do i block them for good ?

I received the same message from above.
he leave a message and state his name is Steve Martin, but the caller ID is from Davis Brown.

They have called my house phone (claimed to be from the Dept of Treasury) and my cell phone (claimed to be from the IRS) feeding me the same lines as everyone else.

People, Look at the area code -- Los Angeles!  The IRS (and probably always will be) in Washington, DC.  Fortunately, these scumbag nimrods haven't figured that out yet.  Furthermore, when the IRS want money from you, they will send a bill via snail mail - with your penalty amounts very clearly printed.

LOVE IT!  Great response!!!!!

LM...Made a lot of threats, legal, jail time etc. Steve Martin, US treasury agent out of LA. Phone ID gives name as Davis Brown. Sounded really weird like reading from a script. A second call from the same area 213-921-4668, LM...suggested I contact their contact center. Scam! Hang up ASAP!

Threatening call. Says name is Steve Martin. Says from US Treasury. I don't comply arrest & imprisment.
