Did not answer.  They keep calling and other people say when you call this number back, message says leave a message.

Keep getting calls from this number and then when I answer...NOBODY is on the line  
I call them back and I get an answering machine... I left a message.. and NOBODY called back but did not say a thing.... Guess I am going to label the call NOBODY and put the Ringer on Silent or block them If my "NOT Smart Phone" allows me to!!!

I get this phone call at least 4 times a day, they don't leave a message so how do we know who to call. i am looking for a job and this is really annoying because it seems like maybe its coming from one of the career sites when you upload your resume. i am on the do not call list also so next time they call i will tell them not to call again but it doesn't look like it really works. lets all keep telling them not to call anymore and see if we can stop them.

They said its from some college ....it was real annoying so I yell at them to stop calling me...but they keep calling me they got some information from me they said they got my phone number while I was searching online psychologies class

Called me 3 times. I didn't answer. Got nothing but noise in the voicemail.

Well, they called and I didn't answer.  They didn't leave a message.
I guarantee they will get an ear full when they call back

They call a lot, and when I answer, there are muffled sounds in the background and then they hang up.  When I call back, I reach a MESSAGE MACHINE!  The message machine repeats "Your call cannot be completed as dialed" but is NOT the usual voice and is obviously recorded.

I receive calls from this number 3-4 times a day.  Like others who have posted a comment have said, I have tried to call back, thinking I should be responding to something so "urgent" but get a machine with no clues as to who this is!!

Repeated calls from this number over and over and over again, sometimes several times a day.  If I answer the call I get no response at all.  Never leaves a message.  Someone needs to do something about this...although I guess my phone would never ring much if it wasn't for these folks (weak smile)

I just got the same call again and everytime I try to call them back, Verizon tells me the number we disconnected. Wtf????

Unknown caller, but calls about 2-3 times a day.  I answered once with nothing but noise on the other end before THEY hung up on ME.  Tried calling this back and the first time I got a message that said "The number you have reached is out of service, please check the number and dial again" but it was obviously self-recorded.  Every other time I have attempted to call back, I have either gotten a busy signal or it goes to a voicemail.

I have been receiving calls from this # atleast for a month already, they claim to be informing me of a claim filed against me, and they want me to call and verify my place of employment and address, (Yeah right) whatever, they are scammers they called a friend told him he owed a loan and they filed against him, to send them 585$ immediately or they were going to pick him up and send the Sherriff to his place of employment to have him arrested, Well he freaked and did send them the money, never heard from them again till 2 days ago the same thing, U go figure, I mean like didn't he just pay that 2 wks ago? Duh they are scammers people don't answer and pay no mind to the voicemail, A formal complaint will be filed through the court system and they will not call U on the telephone about that, the thing is that's the only way to be untraceable, I ignore all their calls or reject the call...I got better things to do with my money than gettin scammed out of a couple of 100$....

I have been getting calls from this number almost every day for about two weeks now. If i don't answer they never leave a message and if i do they hang up on me! They just called a few minutes ago and i rejected the call...don't people have anything better to do???

Ditto, these idiots have been calling too....i tried to call back but got busy tone.  WTF???/

I keep getting calls from this number as well.  Like most, when I finally answered due to irritation of the calls, THEY had the nerve to hang up on ME!  Really!!!  Then a few minutes ago I finally called them back and it was a fast busy signal, usually meaning it's not a working number.....this has to STOP!!!  VERY ANNOYED BY THIS!!!

Have had the same problem with these calls. I also believe they are linked to an on line services for job hunting or preparing to go back to school. I assume that the reason they are calling is because they get paid if we pick up the phone as if they are doing their job. Yesterday Kaplan University which is a service provided to link you to colleges did end up on one of my return calls. They knew me by name and I told them not to call again. Today I see another new number on my missed calls, but it all appears to be linked. That's when I decided to check this more current number which is different then the previous calls. I have calls from New York starting with 516 that should also be avoided. I can understand people needing to work, but if we say enough, I expect that to be part of the service.  Makes me mad that this is what I am doing with my time this morning, but I feel we need to know and verbalize to others about this abuse. Yesterday I was told to call the bureau of labor and industry and report this problem. Just an idea. Would like this to stop. A2
