This is a Los Angeles number. I got rapid-fire calls from this number just after 6 PM. I let it go to voicemail, but they would not leave a message. Instead they called right back immediately. Then they waited a few minutes and called twice in a row again. -- a total of 4 times in a row within less than 7 minutes! I am not from that area so it had to be a telemarketer, a scam, or possibly a debt collector, and this constitutes harassment. I am on the DNC Registry.

They called early one evening on my cell. I thought it was my answering service because the caller ID said "Answering Service" but I don't live in the state of California. I answered like a dope and then they hung up. I put them on call block

This is Ansafone Contact Centers.  It is not a telemarketer or sales call.  This is an inbound answering service.  If they are calling you, then they are most likely your answering service and they have a message for you.  It does not matter if you live in California.  This is a national company that answers calls for people all over the country.  The headquarters is in California, so the caller ID comes from there.  

Yep. It's the answering service number for a nation wide company. If they are calling you it is either the wrong number or they have a message for you.

Responded to a call for a medical trial involving a knee meniscus,they called from this # and gave me a 1-877 # in which to call them back on. Something called the Venus Trial or something like that
