I got this number but a different Gmail email.  He's on Craigslist trying to buy my product.  Sounds like a scammer too...

I'm glad I googled this name before I responded; he replied to a craigslist posting I placed.  Most definetely a scammer.

This is a scam phone number. I placed an ad on craigslist, received a fake payment notice from paypal, and when I replied back to the person telling them I know the truth I received an email a few days later saying it was from the FBI and if I didn't follow through with the "sale" they would be forwarding my information to the local law agencies and I would be arrested. Don't fall for it!

I was trying to sell something on craiglist and this person responded to my ad. His storie sounded a bit odd. Now Im glad I googled it and found this info.

wow i've been talking to this guy also. He started going into one of those long stories about how he's unavailable so we'll have to set up a paypal account, and red flags started going off! I'm glad people make it publicly known. i gave him my tele number though, is that a problem in this case?

I Googled for an address, actually, and found this loop. Again the 'paypal thing' where he wants to transfer $ for something I'm selling and send 'someone' to get the merchandise....

His claim this time was that - all thru e-mail since he's unavailable as he's an 'oceanographer' and out @ sea - he wants to purchase the item. And he's pushing me to HURRY.

I Google'd and found a Thomas Todd, author and oceanographer, but clearly not the same person.

Also... Mr Tom Todd has more e-mail accts he's using besides "toddring00188@gmail.com".
He provided a second e-mail of "thomas.scott3@globomail.com".  GLOBOMAIL.COM is a company out of BRAZIL and provides free accts. Looks like lots of frauds stuff goes thru here...

He just emailed me this morning, and uses the name Tom Todd, saying he's an oceanographer, using a laptop at sea. I knew something was weird when he didn't ask any questions about what i was selling.

Don't give this guy your paypal or any info.

This guy is a piece of S***!!!!!!!! Tried buying a product of mine again only using paypal refused e-mail money transactions and direct deposit. Has scam e-mails being sent from "paypal" stating bank account info was invalid etc, prompting me to ship item ASAP via express post to China.......using same name as mentioned above toddring, goes by Tom Todd. Text messages received from him but nothing came back to me in response from his number. DO NOT reply to ANY of his messages. I had to contact the RCMP regarding my experience and have my item re-tracked through the mail. WORST experience of my life!!!!

Now a scammer on Kijiji!!!!  Is responding to my Kijiji add via text msg. #is 323-835-1119 stating he's interested in item and to send him email.......very fishy.....if he saw add, he could reply through the add on his laptop/computer/phone.....whatever he has.  Definitely a scam.  DELETE IT!!

I fell for his scam 2 years ago. I said goodbye to $10,000+ worth of diamond rings plus $90 in shipping to China. He responded to Kijiji ad in Edmonton. I reported it to our local TV trouble shooter. BEWARE!!
