Claimed from IRS

A number supposedly from Plano TX 214 238-8245 is a man with a voice that sounds like he's from India. Asking me to give him money because he says I owe back taxes. I asked him to mail it in the mail if he's true and then he started talking an Indian and I hung up. I know it's a scam because I have no issues IRS.thank you for any help you can provide to protecting the public from the scam artists sincerely thank you

Watch out for those scam artists that say though that IRS. The accent is from India and it sounds like there is a bunch of people in the background making calls claiming that they are the Internal Revenue Service. A call from Plano tx 214 238-8245 idon't interact with them. These people are thieves. the IRS would send you a letter in the mail if there were any truth to it at all.

I received 2 calls today (9/16/15) stating that a lawsuit was against me from the IRS. This was my final notice.

i called it. Said the number was no longer in service. I was going to yank their chain but couldn't get anybody. Darn it!

Everyone should that the IRS does not contact people by phone.  It must be a scam.  The caller should be prosecuted.

Warning by IRS

Called twice this morning.. once at 7am. Left computerized message telling me to call back to settle case..... Fat chance... It's a scam!

Called my answering machine 3x's while I was at work.  I figured if it were truly the IRS they would not leave a robotic voicemail.

Thanks for info, just read same in AARP magazine abt this ,called me 3x's today leaving message, but I know better not to answer those calls, always check out numbers on this site

Ignorant Scammer.  Learn to speak the language, before you attempt in scamming me, IRS= Ignorant Robo Scammer. Not the Internal Revenue Service.....Get a clue.

I got a call from them today. Left a computerized voicemail just like all of you stating that I was being sued by the IRS. They must think that we Americans are pretty stupid and don't know how our own governmental agencies work. I'd love to sue them!

Automated system saying they were the IRS and there is a lawsuit. I'm so tired of these calls.

Left several message hung up once when I called back. I then called back to let him know I was going to report the scam # to local police and news. Same India speaking man said go ahead.

I got a message stating the IRS was filing suit against me and to call this number immediately: 214-238-8245.  The call was made approximately 8:15 am  Monday morning.

Received automated call from 213-479-2925.  Call the number back and told them this was a scam and I was turning them over to authorities...
