Quit calling my phone

Got a call from collections starting a medical bill from 2015 haven't been to the hospital nor dr that year. Blocked

They asked me to verify some personal information but would not tell me who they were. And they hung up.

So this number has been calling my job at least 4 times a day for a month and hanging up. I finally had a bu#! full and decided to just start calling them back. They refuse to say the name of their company or why they are calling. My co-worker and I tagged teamed them and both of us were calling at the same time. They really hate it when you say, "this call is being recorded and monitored". After time 15, they finally said they were looking for John Doe.
I hope we bothered them enough they have blocked our number. If not, we have all day to play this game!

Received seven calls from this number in the last two weeks.  No messages were left. I don’t answer unknown numbers.

Recieved a call, they hung up. I called back and they put me on hold. They have called 3 times

Number called asked for my husband I asked what the nature of the call was and that I was his wife, they asked my name I asked for what he said you don't have to yell and  hung up the phone. This number has been added tot he blocked list.

Rang but no message.

Got a call from this number at my work saying it was Jefferson Capital about a so-called credit card debt from 2005. No such debt for me. Even if it was though, I believe it's been too long for them to collect on anything.

they can attempt to collect a debt for the rest of eternity. They cannot sue or threaten to sue once your State's Statute of Limitations has expired however.

No Need

Phishing scam! They asked me to confirm the last 4 of my SSN and wanted to me to provide  other security information. I refused to answer. (But, they did know my last 4.)
