Call to elder, something about reverse mortgage.  "Please call Cindy Davis"  We did not call back.

Rec'd call fromn Ms Davis said there was some changes in reverse mort. must talk to you in person.
I called made apptment then called to cancel.  Who are these people.

This is a Scam.  They claim to work for the FHA and are selling "Obama" program = Revrse Mortgages.    First, the FHA does not sell reverse mortgages, only mortgage companies do.  To use "Obama" name as a sales tool is flat out unethical if not illegal.   Cindy Davis just called my best friend and was selling her.  She then sold the lead to a local mortgage company who is not bugging her to come to her house for hi pressure sales.

Cindy Davis called from and gave this number. Said there was a "state of the economy change" and something about FHA and reverse mortgages. Made an appointment for a Mike Randazo? but after reading the above will cancel.

Yeah...got the same message.  Funny, I don't have a reverse mortgage...

My Mother Received a call from Cindy Davis saying she was from FHA Senior American Office, RE: Reverse Mortage, to explain changes from Feb. 2010. My Mother unknowingly made an appointment to see someone named Sol Cherwin. Cindy told my Mother to have the "last" statement from her Reverse Mortage Company available.  When I called back to question Cindy Davis she was very evasive. I simply asked her if she works for the FHA, she said she works for
"Senior American Office" . I said I never heard that the FHA would sell or be involved with Reverse Mortages. I asked for Sol Cherwins phone number, she would not tell me
and hung up. I called back & got an answering machine. I told her to cancel "any"
appointment and that I was going to report her to the FBI....Dan, NY
