A Fred VanOrman (or something similar) from Generational Equity about "exit strategies" for our business.  Though pleasant enough, the man could ramble.  I finally informed him about the multiple unwanted calls from his company and he promised he would remove our number from their list. We'll see.

Received call from a fast talking, kind of nervous salesman about some business "exit strategies".
I guess he is trying to be business broker.
Sounded flakey, not trustworthy.
Told him off

Got a message with the same information from Generational Equity.  Not calling back!  

Very Rude and won't explain what they want, all they state is they are a Mergers and Acquisitions firm.  I asked the gentleman what the call was in regards too and he seemed dumbfounded and said he just told me.  So I repeated Mergers and Acquisitions? and he said yes.. so once again I proceeded to ask what he wanted, he scoffed and told me "to have fun" and just hung up.  This is prob the 3rd time hes called,  Why call if you aren't going to explain your self?  

Very formal woman caller asked to speak to my husband, I ask what it was in regard to, stated could only speak with the \"owner\" about a business matter. When I said I was the owner she asked if I was part owner or the full owner. I said full and she then went into her speal about being business acquisition company, and wanted to know if we thought about selling. I told her we were not interested and to remove us from their calling list. SO much for the US GOV do not call list!

I answered the phone saying this is Jimmy...the caller asked to speak to Sandra, I said who is this...she said: ARE YOU SANDRA?....I knew she is an idiot..because I sound like Louis Armstrong

Caller ID shows: Chris Stout.

Said he is Chris Stout with yadayadayada............uh huh.... I just hang up........

thanks for caller ID I did not answer... wonder how this idiot feels at the end of the day when a thousand people have told him to [***]

Call came in and the person acted as if she knew the owner personally.  When I said the owner wasn't available and I could take a message she said " she is the owner, right?"  Monica Brown I know you need a job but you're a BOZO!   Per Caller ID the call was coming from Generational Eq, 214-306-4002 and per the message the owner was to  call back to 469-828-2841 today so she could be signed up for an important business owner meeting.   I can guarantee this call will never go through to the owner on my watch!!!!!!!!  

I have received several calls from Generational Equity talking about a specific opportunity for my company.  First was Mike Lewis, then Becky Bensen, then Vernon Denton, and lastly as exasperated sounding Jim Southerd.  I looked at their website where they list all of their "Team" and none of these people were listed. They all called from the same number 469-828-28XX with differing last two digits.

Got message from "Generational Equity" this morning. Did not listen to entire message...from other's comments I did not need to.

The man doesn't leave his name and continuously calls.  We would like to be taken off his call list.

Melissa Jenkins with Generational Equity calling to speak to Phil (our deceased owner).  I placed her on hold, and she called back to back to back 3 times.  This lady is crazy, the company is crazy, their shenanigans are crazy.  I thought she'd be smart enough to get the hint, but I guess not....

Received a call from Allen Shiftlet @ Merger & Acquisitions, claimed it was not a sales call.....acted like he knew the owner......but we all know better. Needless to say....the owner never received his message.

Cassie calling (caller id rang up 469-828-2830) calling to see if the owner is available and to tell him about a business meeting that would be in our area to see if he was interested in attending...I round filed the message

Your company is for sale.  It is time to pack up, and look for a new job.  That is why we cannot discuss why we are calling.  We are following up on the business for sale listing your boss inquired about.  Now go back to work and stop wasting your employer's time on this website.  Don't you have anything better to do?  Its a business follow up call.   Get a life and let the phone pro's do their job.  Do you think we like talking to you idiots?  No.  Put the freaking boss on the phone.

So funny! I love it when GenEq employees post comments.

Instead of berating the feedback about your cold calling tactics (which aren't working), perhaps you should change your approach.
