I came across this site and have no vested interest in the complaints being lobbied but do want to clear up one misunderstanding here in regards to the $10k bond.  If you take the time to read the statute where this is described you will clearly see it references CONSUMER debt - the statue is silent on commercial debt.  If you call the TX SOS and ask them if the bond applies to Commercial agencies you will get a response such as 'All I can tell you is that the statute applies to consumer debt'.  Thus the statute is silent on commercial debt and a commercial debt only firm would not need the $10k bond. Hopefully this clears up this one misunderstandingallegation frequently referenced here.

I want to know why these guys have not responded to the well documented evidence against them? Why have they failed to rebuttal the information that is shown? It seems to me they have no way to dispute it and nothing to say because they know the evidence speaks for itself.

5. She then told me that I now owed her for her ''time involved''. Words were exchanged, I hung and thought that was the end of it.
6. Ms. Scott then called in 51 documented times over the next day and a half, told me that if I didn't give in to her demands that she would post negative remarks and reviews all over the internet in an attempt to ruin my and Carson Rose's reputation. I didn't give into her demands, so she posted things on several web sites to the point that if you ''GOOGLE'' our company name, phone number or our (Barry Berens & Brandon ''Doug'' Bradshaw) all these nasty web sites pop up. Also, she has posted my partner and I home address and phone numbers on these sites. Any pedophile could access these sites and victimize our families.
7. We ignored the situation further, she then ''hacked'' into my ''MySpace'' page, took photo's of my family and home address information and posted it also to these nasty, defamatory web sites.
8. When she still didn't get what she wanted, she called my cell phone by pushing a bunch of buttons in our companies phone system. She told me that if I didn't pay her $2500, she would continue to damage our reputation's by posting more things online.
9. I blocked her phone number from calling in, she then ''spoofed'' the caller ID to look like my office was calling my cell phone, to get me to answer so she could yell, cuss and attempt to extort money from us.
10. She sent at least a couple dozen emails to us, so I blocked her email address. She then, knowing that she couldn't email us directly, went to our website (www.carsonrose.com) and used the ''more information'' button to send nasty messages to us. (attached)
11. She still calls in daily with her caller id blocked to harass us and our employees.
12. She emails us, unprovoked that we are in some violation of the laws that govern our state with regards to licensing and bonding requirements. We have proven time and time again to her that we are, in fact, in full compliance. However, she has posted all over the internet that we are not in an attempt to have future prospective clients NOT do business with us because of these lies.
13. On the rare occasions that she was able to get one of us on the phone, she recorded the calls without our knowledge. She then, using some kind of audio software, chopped the recordings up to make it sound like we are saying what it is she wanted us to say. I have the ''real'' recordings on file. If you need them, please let me know. All calls to and from our office are recorded, it notifies callers of this during the main greeting.

Ms. Scott has filed this BBB report for purely malicous reasons. She has created a website that is in violation of federal and state law. She has made false allegations that Carson Rose & Associates, Inc. has and is operating illegally. As such, I cannot discuss the actions we are taking. All I can do is advise that this "dispute" be closed.

15. She then contacted one of our other clients to entice him to take part in the extortion. He, ''Ron Kolman'', went along with this at first, but later recanted all of his negative remarks posted on these sites and has since written an apology letter and posted those to these sites.

Also, I contacted this "attorney" and requested a letter of representation and NEVER have received one, well over three weeks later.... I contacted their office again today and was informed they do not represent Carson Rose & Associates and NEVER represented them.

Now, you would think if this guy Doug was really planning on filing "suit" we would have been notified. It is obvious that he was told he doesn't have a leg to stand on and no case. He was most likely informed that WE in fact, DO have a strong case and he was probably advised to back off.
Now that would explain why we never were contacted by his "attorney"

Yeah, I used this company to collect on a few debts I had and they did nothing. They called the debtor, talked trash about me and my company and even laughed with the debtor. I have a signed letter from the debtor telling me things that she should not even know about, which proves they did do what she has claimed. Brandon or Douglas, or whatever your name is, it is obvious that your company is going downhill and you have left a trail of unhappy customers. No one wants to do business with you. No one. Your business is hurting now because I know that you have lost several accounts. Not to mention the ripoffreport follows you and I commend the lady who designed the website against you and spoke with her yesterday. She has no intentions of deleting the information and is fact panning a BIG surprise for your company that will soon close it's doors for good... where's your attorney at now? Oh, that;s right... HE DOES NOT EXSIST! YOU MAKE ME [***] SICK!

I was first upset too when this company called to find the owner and then was very rude to my employee. I then called back and realized I was going to waste my time arguing with them and instead had my own fun.  More I read these articles the more I wish others wouldn't take everything in life so damn serious.  I hope that crazy calls like this are their biggest problems to deal with.  Don't get so worked up about it, it can not be that they take up too much of your time, b/c here you are taking time out to complain. Fight fire w/ fire and call them up (repeatably if you want) and have your own fun at their expense.  I enjoyed my call back!

I saw the website against this company and agree with the person who made it. I am happy to see someone stand up to them and fight back! It is funny to see someone not allow them to intimidate them and do what they need to do to give them a dose of their own medicine! GREAT JOB AWDS! I think your website is a great way to warn other people about this shady and unethical company!

Please contact me! This company is a joke and needs to be stopped. I have made it my goal in life to expose them for who they are! I have already contacted several of their clients and made them aware of their unethical actions..... believe it or not they have lost several large clients because of my evidence! I mean, the owner is a CONVICTED DRUG Carrier!

I had a terrible accident and was hospitalized, thankfully I survived but I am now medically disabled. I lost 85% of my income. I was contacted by Carson Rose & Associates who told me that they were a law firm representing a company that I owed money to. I explained my situation and my inability to pay anything to anyone.  The “Collection Agent” who lied to me and told me she was an attorney was extremely rude and unprofessional to me. She called me a liar when I was trying to tell her how much I had already paid on the account she was referring to. When I was trying to speak with her and give her dates and amounts of payments she put me on hold without a word as I was speaking. When she returned to the line she told me that I had 48 hours to come up with several thousand  dollars and that I had to give it to her over the phone by giving her my bank account information for a withdrawal from Carson Rose & Associates. She said if I did not get the money within 48 hours then they were filing a law suit against me in court and after they got a judgment against me they would do an assets search in my name and that they would force a sheriff’s sale of my belongings to take the money from me!

Something didn’t feel right to me about this call and the unprofessional way I was treated so I googled the name and I am glad I did! I wouldn’t give this company my personal information! They have an “F” rating with the BBB!!! There are so many complaints posted all over the internet from both clients and debtors that I can’t read them all!

Gratefully I am blessed with an attorney in my family. He has referred me to a firm who specifically handles companies like this. They are breaking so many laws it is astonishing. I hope they get shut down. I feel sorry for the businesses who hire this company and even more sorry for the debtors who become their victims who aren’t smart enough to research a company before giving any personal information over the telephone or paying them any money. I think it was Divine intervention that I had just heard on the Laura Ingram show the day before this phone call to beware of collection agencies that illegally pretend to be law firms and attorneys and to turn them in if you found one.

a sleazeoid collections "firm" with ridiculous employees. namely, JILL JONES AT EXTENSION 713, who, like a WHINING OLD BAT talks down to whomever she deals with. instead of "eat your food!!!, eat your veggies!!!" she yells at you "pay your bills!!!-pay your bills!!!-pay your bills!!!"  HAHAHAHAHAHAHA, and depiste the ILLEGAL ACT of continuously calling back several times to harrass me , even after  i told her not to call and said to mail any correspondance, then hang up on her, she still puts my office number into AUTOMATED ROTATION, and i get those "robo-calls" very 5 min until thier office closes....HAHAHAHA!!!!!  annoying, sure, but 2 can play at the "caller ID game"... its really fun to hear her get upset, especially when i laugh in her face and call her names! All that stress for a few hundred bucks...OH THE HUMOR IN IT ALL  =P
