Received telephone call stating that legal papers needed to be delivered between 12-4. Please be available at residence if not home would come to my place of employment. Have 2 Ids to verify identity.

Received a call to inform me of legal papers being served to me a my home between the hours of 12 and 4. Said I need 2 forms of ID and if they were unable to serve me at home they were required to serve me at work. Also said they had to request a manager or supervisor to accompany them. Her name was Brooke Anderson.  The company name is United Carriers.

I received a call from 214-310-1609.  The person I spoke with said they were a courier service and would be delivering a package to me through the county I live in.  I asked her what that meant and she said it simply meant that it was the county in which I reside.  She did not know the contents as it was sealed.

She gave me the name of the company she was working with and it is "Cornerstone Mediations" and gave me the number 844-843-5376.  I called them and a person by the name of Brian Duncan answered, said I owed "Cash Advance Store" for a payday loan from May 2013.  I have had a call from Brandy Lucero, calling for Recievable Management Services, a debt collection agency.  Number is 877-575-8182.  When I call that number I get Brian Duncan.  So, two different names, two different numbers, with the same accusation of an unpaid payday advance.
I did have a loan from there but I paid it off.  I have placed a call to the police department to report this as a scam.  Brian Duncan used a lot of language that was designed to intimidate me.  He said in would be charged with malicious intent, bad check fees, etc. And he made sure to mention my place of employment.  He said I could pay $696 now or if we go to court I would have to pay at least $1427.00 plus court costs and attorney fees.

I think that this delivery service is working with this scammer to defraud people.  Once the police report is filed here where I live, I may get an attorney to represent me in this case.
