Very rude lady, Julie, called to confirm my address so I could be served for an old debt. 2nd call claimed someone had been to my address to serve me. 3rd call stated if I didn't confirm my address or make myself available to be served, I would be subject to an additional $700 penalty.  I always thought the only person who could serve you with "official papers" was a constable type official. I've never been served with any papers before so I asked my friends and they have said even if a constable cannot find you, there is never a fee or penalty charged by them. Whoever this company is uses some harrassing phone tactics. I've gotten 3 messages within a two hour period. The last message said, "You have officially been served." Wonder how much of a penalty that's going to cost me?

a RICK ALLEN at 469-844-3152 just called my phone - not 1, not 2, but 3 times before leaving a message.  Funny thing is that this number for some reason or another appears to be an INTERNET based phone number so this RICK ALLEN could be sitting anywhere in the USA! He states that he has papers to serve me and to call 877-585-0952 called Nationwide (they don't reveal anything else about their company except that the lady that answered says she is in their Payment Processing department.  Along with MR RICK ALLEN'S call to my work phone and my cell phone another number called my parents phone and my wife's phone from 214-377-4876.  Both the 469 & 214 numbers are appearing to be INTERNET phone numbers and you cannot leave a message and the voice states its an INVESTIGATION DEPARTMENT number.  The lady at Nationwide states they are not a collection company rather the last step before FRAUD charges are brought against me concerning BAYSIDE CASH.  You look up BAYSIDE CASH and the phone number on their website is invalid.  
Turning all these numbers into the FEDERAL TRADE COMMISSION.  They all MUST obey the FDCPA and obviously do not.  The only NATIONWIDE MEDIATION is out of the UNITED KINGDOM.
