This number calls me everyday, 7 days a week, around 2 times a day, up until around 9:00 pm.  Now they are calling other family members leaving messages for a return call. I have yet to receive any mail from this company to verify the reasoning for these harassing phone calls everyday.  GET A LIFE....IF YOU DON'T GET A RETURNED CALL THEN THAT MEANS WE DON'T WANT TO TALK TO YOU..STOP CALLING....

They left a message not saying what for. Just said:

This is Maria Chavez, please call 214-503-1482 extension 132 or toll free number 877-532-6133 extension 132.

Ms. Maria Chavez... I don't know what you are calling about, since you didn't bother elaborating. Additionally, by the tone of your voice I can already tell you are one of those illiterate so called "bill collectors" (should be renamed to professional harassers) who don't have other talent but to have tick skin, hypocritical demeanor and unpleasant voice.

As such, guess what, you just got blacklisted and will be sent directly to my Visual Voice Mail...

God I love technology. Have a pleasant day :)

Since September of 2007, RS Clark has attempted to collect a debt that one of my past apartment complexes charged to my move out fees.  During that month of September, I attempted to tell the apartment complex that I wasn't paying said debt, that I had already paid them nearly $200 in other fees, and that them adding on fees after I've already paid others was bogus.  They turned it over to RS Clark.  My first phone call was from a very polite man, in which he actually listened to my side of the story and had written down that I was already disputing the bogus fees from the apartment complex.  A week later I was met with a very rude phone call from RS Clark from a different man, who insisted on telling me that "I pay my bills, sir.  It's you that doesn't pay yours.  Will that be Credit or Check today?!"  When I tried to inform him to go ahead and just report the $85 to my credit report very politeley, he then started yelling at me even though I wasn't being anywhere close to rude to him.  "PAY YOUR BILL SIR!!" was a common phrase he screamed over and over again.  I hung up after about 10 minutes knowing I wasn't talking to a regular human being.  Again, this was September 2007.  Today, as I write this, it is June 2008.

I then filed a dispute and complaint with all three main credit bureaus; and shortly received a copy of my credit report with RS Clark's dispute clearly stated as "Will be removed in 2014."  RS Clark knows I've disputed and blocked their attempts at claiming this so-called $85 fee from my old apartments, yet, for some reason, I keep getting calls and voice mails telling me to call them even after 10 months.  I am in the process of moving as we speak, and will be attaining a new cell phone number shortly thereafter, so the calls will stop.  But why do they insist on trying for nearly a whole year to collect $85?  And on top of that, an $85 dollars that has been blocked by the Credit Bureaus from even being added to my credit report?  Ah well...guess I really just wanted people to know what's going on with this craptastic company.

Multiple calls from these guys; They phoned at work after my company posted a press release with my name on it. They harassed my office manager because she wouldn't forward the call until they told her what it was about - threatened to sue my employer for not forwarding the call!!!

That was two years ago. At the time, I ordered them to cease and desist all phone calls. Now they are calling me again, breaking the law.

This is due to a bill that appliance wherehouse sent me dated after the account had been closed and settled. I told AW I refuse to pay until they can provide a detailed invoice with dates and values, and can prove that the account was still active. Of course, they never provided said info.

the first time they called, i had answered it, because their number is close to my wife's work number and i didn't look closely enough to spot the difference. he wouldn't give me any detail about who he was or what he was calling about, just that he needed to speak to my wife and had been unable to reach her. i told him i would give her the message, but otherwise gave him no information. my wife says she already asked them to mail her in writing what they are trying to collect, and they haven't sent anything.

since then, 2 or 3 times a week i get another call and another voicemail telling me that i need to call them back. but i know if i call them, he won't tell me anything, so what's the point?

Miriam Jones or aka  Mrs walker ext 133...Very harassing and the funny thing is the company is right down the street..A so called Supv JT answered the phone after she hung up becasue i was the wrong person... and told me to come on down there and he will be waiting....lol Im not your average "hey buddy, lets talk about this" They underestimate me and all the crazy people in the world.  I have no idea of who there trying to reach but for some rude Ebonics speaking  black woman to role her neck while talking, and a red neck white guy JT to talk like he had been drinking all day...This company is trying to rob people who either one will never pay them or two have no idea what there talking about...What i suggest is going to the company if your in Dallas, and see how they talk to you  :)

Your right, don't answer the phone and there are laws put in place in your state about harassing collectors.......I got so pissed i almost.."nevermind"    but if they call don't answer. Worst thing you could do is speak to a bill collector especially if it isn't you OR you have no intentions on paying. They talk to you like that because they bought your account or someone else account and now there stuck...They are very strict on there employees, and if they don't collect there out the door..SO minute you say your not paying they hangup. Its suppose to intimidate you and make you feel powerless.  lol........They will go out of business, don't worry...Its a recession, no one is going to pay them. And all there assests will be used, loans from banks to keep them alive will stop, and the consumer as they already do...will not pay them.

Same thing happened to me too. For a $45 dollar bill from Appliance Wharehouse. They overcharged me one month and I refused to pay. The conversation you had with him sounds word for word what he said to me.

This number continues to call stating it's imperative that they speak.  They never identify who they are and what the matter is in regards to.  Interesting enough I've never published this number on any of my personal matters.

debt collector.  as long as they do not reach you are leave a message, they can call as many times a day, as they choose... each minute if they wanted to.  the moment they leave a message, they can not contact you the rest of the day, which is why they don't leave messages half the time.  Check out the FDCPA by Google'ing or something and see how they are allow to collect.  if they go outside of the FDCPA, you can civilly sue the caller or sue the company.
