God these people are annoying. Like a dog with a bone..don't they put down rabid dogs? They have been asked several times to stop calling. Now they have it in writing. Next call will result in being reported to the FCC and Oregon State Attorney's office.

This number is from DW Energy Group in Irving, Tx.  Their website is dwenergygroup.com.  I got a call from their number also - didn't answer, no message left.  After looking at their website, I have no idea why they would want to call me.  They appear to be looking for investors who make $200K a year, $300K if married.

I was called by these buys and oddly enough wasn't offended.  It didn't fit their criteria, I wasn't a business owner and they said they look for guys with a 5MM net worth.  I did checked out their website and they look pretty legit.  It kind of left me wishing I had more money cause God knows oil is gonna be around for a long time.

Your opinion, but if they want to continue calling after people tell them no thank you, then people here have a right to complain.

Yup, it will be if "Cap and Trade" is implemented.

Your opinion is in the vast minority here, and it doesn't count anyway because you're a shill.

"...said they look for guys with a 5MM net worth." -- FIRST RULE OF sales: KNOW YOUR CUSTOMER.  That means you don't cold-call someone with THAT kind of net worth.  If you want to do business with someone of that financial stature, you do it by net-working and having an introduction.  (At which point, they'll probably tell you to send your portfolio and business plan to one of their investment people for review.)

I, too, checked out their website. While the bottom of it's pages DO state they are not attempting to buy or sale a "security" (that would require registration with the SEC), I find it ironic that it doesn't include something to the effect of ".., rather, we are selling interests in a General Partnership...that buys land, hoping someone wants to drill on it..."  At least, that's what it looks like to me.

They ARE licensed with the State of Texas:  https://ourcpa.cpa.state.tx.us/coa/servlet/cp ... _ID=32036610874

Other than that and an expired SEC filing, I can't find much but advertisements by them.

I'm not saying they are or aren't legit.  It kind of reminds me of a "wild-cat" business, which is neither here nor there.  Many of the big oil strikes were by "wild-cats."  However, if anyone is interested in these folks, I'd suggest a more intense and thorough review than what I could find, just to make sure you know who you're dealing with!

When a company has to have shills post up reviews I'll pass! I'll take my chances of finding the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow and probably have better luck.

Received a call from this number @ 12:04 PM.  Was driving did not answer.  All my numbers are on the DNC list and have been for a year.  I check periodically to insure they have not rolled off.

Do you hold working interest in one of their projects? I have been seeking more information on these guys....if they truly are producing from the Bakken Shale at the numbers on their website, I'm curious to learn more.

For those complaining of cold calls....any successful business needs to grow and develop relationships with new clients. In this day and age it is essential to reach out for new opportunities. If they are a legitimate company I see no harm. If they are a scam.....no good

I'm in three projects with them and did my research.  With a 16% return, I would have been better off buying into stock purchases of Exxon, BP etc. that's a liquid asset.  That's almost a five year turn to replace the original investment without the ability to broker.  Yes, a few will pay out in eleven months but don't expect that.

    dont wanna leave one
Called on 4:45 went to their web site.  Second thing I saw was Immediate Cash Flow Properties. Low Investment & Large Potential!.  If it's such a low investment why do you have to make so much?  All my numbers are on the DNC list and have been for over a year.  I check periodically to insure they have not rolled off.  Found this information on website:
    DW Energy Group
Address: 909 Lake Carolyn Pkwy Ste 1925, Irving, TX 75039-4128

Does the pervious post seem unlikely to anyone else?  I wonder if you "fit their criteria" if you work for them?

"If they are a legitimate company I see no harm." Let me point out the harm.  When they are ignoring DO NOT CALL lists and continue calling after being advised they have called a number on the DNC list they are breaking the law.  How can you "see no harm"?  I have more opinions but I will leave my post at FACTS.
