Message say's there is an arrest warrent and call is a threatening threatening phone call

I go the same call.  The caller is John Adam.  John says tha twarrant is for the tax fraud and I have to pay $4,100 or warrant goes to my local police department.

Scam! Neither the IRS nor the state of PA will call you about tax issues, they always send letters.  Also, they would never offer to have you pay to cancel a warrant. Once a warrant is issued, it is too late to do anything to prevent the warrant being executed and you never receive advance notice about one.

My elderly mother was called from the same number claiming a warrant was to be executed unless some money was paid.  I called the local police department who felt it was a scam

I got a call to call this number to clear some old tax due from 2009 or I will be arrested in 45 minutes. This is a big scam and some nasty people are doing it. The person on this phone number then asked me to go to a 7-11 store and make a cashiers check and send it to him.

Ask him to whom and where he wants the check mailed, and mumble something like, "Hmm, ... 18 USCS § 201(b) ... imprisonment for 15 years ... hmm ... interesting ... Could you repeat your name, please?"

there is a scam going on by a an Indian guy (according to his accent) that said that criminal charges are filled against me.I told him to talk with my lawyer and hanged up but he continue calling.How to stop him?Ho wto report him .This guy deserves prison.

This is a total scam. Male caller states he's from the IRS and if you don't wire them a large sum of money while you're on the phone with them, they will issue an arrest warrant. Don't be fooled, just hang up.

Received call to our office.  "Roger Gibson" with Indian sounding accent left message for someone no longer emplyed here.  Very threatening, call this number immediately or turn yourself into the local police station or you will be arrested.  Called the number, the person that answered was "Dave", sounded just like Roger, told me he was from the Federal Bureau of Crime Enforcement.  When asked which division of the Federal Government this was under, he told me the FDC-BBB.  Hmmmm....never heard of that one.  He was perturbed that my number did not show up on caller ID.
