Was told that this was a Philadelphia law office and I won $500,000. Ties between 9-11 AM a courier would deliver a check to me. They knew my name and address

Claimed I was $500,000 winner with publishers clearing house. Had my name and address. When I told caller that I would call her back at her law firm, she hung up on me.

Glad I went on line to check number - I blocked it from my phone.  Good idea to check all unfamiliar numbers.

Knew name and town. Said that he was.from a law firm that started with Elliot and I had won second prize. I asked if I could return call and he hung up.

Same thing here I won Publishers- I asked for direct number to law firm and I would call her back. She hung up!

Didn't answer - no message left, my cell phone provider has dial backs to this scam number blocked

6/11/20 8:47 PDT  Didn't answer because of "V" ID and no message left.  Guessing it was like that previous reports about this number.

10:40 Creeps just tried again!!

Law Firm calling to tell me I won a prize from Publishers Clearing House of 500,000. Said they sent me a blue certified envelope telling me I won a prize - should have received envelope two weeks ago.  Wanted to deliver Monday morning.  Asked my age, if I was married and my spouse's age.  Asked if I owned or rented my home.   Call ended mid-sentence after caller said he was going to refer me to his supervisor for final verification, the call was being recorded and not to give out any personal information over the phone, but I would need a driver's licence for identity verification on Monday when they came.

Last 2 days keeps calling leaving no voice message. Starts around  8am 12pm 2:35p etc.

Strong foreign accent, said he was with a law firm whose name I don't remember. Told me I had won the sweepstakes I'd entered. I said I hadn't entered a sweepstakes, and hung up.

After 4th call from that #, I answered.   Said his name was Bob Anderson from some Law firm .  Said I was in top 3rd winnings from Publisher's Clearing Hse.  He said I should sit down to hear amt of winnings - $500,000.  I said that would come thru mail, (thought later or to our door) but I said if legit fine!  Send it!  He hung up and I hung up - almost same time!

Female caller with accent, stated She was calling from law firm about winning Publishers Clearing House. They would be at my door Monday. I let her kniw the call is a scam and I would be reporting it. She hung up..

Male caller with accent, stated he was calling from la aw firm about winning 2nd prize in Publishers Clearing House ($500,000). Said they would be at my door Wednesday between 9-11. When I told him I did not have any credit cards he hung up..

received 2 calls today from this number!!!

Been receiving calls from this number many times a day for many weeks. They leave no messages. I don't answer numbers I don't recognize. It's annoying that they will not stop.
