We received an email from 'John Jeremy'. It said he was from Presbyterian church.  He wanted a quote on some sheet metal.  Since we do work for several Presbyterian churches in town, I sent him a quote and asked which church he belonged to. He responded by confirming his order and doubled it. (red flag)  He said he was at Presbyterian Church 2317 Bannerman Rd. Tallahassee, FL 32312 and Bishop Wayne would accept delivery in Accra Ghana 00233. 305 897 4783(red flag) Everything else read just like everyone else's email concerning shipping prices, contacts, etc. (red flag) When I went to www.presbyorphanage.org (website given by 'John Jeremy')it said 'file not found'. (red flag) Then I saw your website and my red flags were confirmed.

Not a phone call, but an email.  The guy is now operating as John Jeremy [john.jeremy50@yahoo.com].  The shipping company he is referencing is Envoy Cargo Express, and is asking me to contact Lisa Powers, via email.

This is the second scammer I've dealt with this year.  Another was some lady from Bolivia or something, wanting bank routing information.

I own an awning company and just today "John Jeremy" sent me an email asking a price and payment terms for the purchase of 5 retractable awnings and gave a specific size.  He also asked if I didnt have the size he requested that he would like to purchase other sizes which is very unusual and VERY suspicious.  I copied his email address into the Google search bar and read all the posts on this site.  This guy is a scammer ~ Beware!

Thanks for your inquiry Wells.  I will need some additional information from you so I can size your gutter system properly.  The 8" K Gutter you outlined is very expensive and used in place of roof drains on flat roofs, I have never used such a gutter for a church.

I must say nice touch with the whole Church of God thing.  You must be so proud to scam people using the Lords name.  Congratulations you low life.  Oh and by the way we don't print labels.  We manufacture presses that print labels.  So next time you would like to scam a company make sure you have all the facts of what that company actually does.  I will be forwarding this email to the local authorities as well as the FBI.  I have already sent it to our IT department for further investigation.

We received an email from 'John Jeremy'. It said he was from Presbyterian church.  He wanted a quote on 100,000 8.5" X 11" printed flyers.  Since we do work for several Presbyterian churches in town, I sent him a quote and he confirmed the order.  He asked for a shipping quote and supplied me with his shippers info.  When I investigated the shipper's info, nothing was adding up.  Then I saw your website and the red flags were confirmed.  This guy's a real piece of [***]....using the religious angle to support his scam.  All I can say is Karma.

Thank God for this info.  Rev Rick Catrett wanted a price on printed labels to be sent overseas.(Ghana)  When he accepted my price, he asked that I send them via his carrier Fast Track Shippers, to get a price from them, and to include it in the price.  When I confirmed all prices with Fast Track and asked if we could set up terms with them, they said they would only accept Money Grams.  I asked Rev. Rick if we could use our carrier/freight forwarder because I did not believe in paying up front in a Money gram to a company whom I was unfamiliar with.  He insisted I use Fast Track.  That's when I did investigation here and found your website.  Thank you
