It is some Collection Agency that uses local offices to make calls to people to avoid being ignored. Often these calls are long distance and any attempt to redial the number ends with busy signals.

calling my tracfone...seriously? they're just dialing to see who they can con out of a few bucks otherwise they would know who they are calling....

Can't belive this guy's asking for ss# and address I think they are scam

Yes they call and they never leave a message, what a pain in the rump

I was able to block this number from calling me.... iPhone allows this.

1 of several calls I get daily from multiple numbers. Claims to be convergent outsourcing, a debt collection agency.

However, this is either:

A. a scam, as I owe nothing and have always paid my bills.
Or
B. a mistake made by the agency (which is real) and they do a loss poor job of leaving people messages. It didn't say my name (big red flag that tells me scam) and they didn't say what the call was exactly about. Requested I call them back. It's most likely a scam based on this and someone else here saying a person on the other end asked for their ssn.

I just don't understand why there seems to be nothing done about all this. On my previous phone I get calls literally daily from different numbers, same as my current phone. Like when will they start cracking down on these [***]?

Called my moms phone yesterday from Convergent Outsourcing. They are claiming to be calling to collect a debt from Sprint. Which is funny since she not only hasn't had Sprint in at least 12 years nor does she owe anything any longer. Plus, we're in PA and the statute of limitations is 4 years. As soon as both of us were financially able to rebuild our credit, these scumbags come out of the woodwork to try and collect B.S. debts. Yet another number blocked...

Multiple calls daily and they leave no message....
How irritating this is.....
