This moron contacted me on a babysitting app through my email.  He said his name is Dave, and he has 2 children, with one on the way.  He said he works a lot and only needs a sitter for 3 nights a week for 4 hours each night.  Furthermore, he said he would pay $1200 a week.  Then he proceeded to say to only contact him by text since he is not on the app often.   I just had to laugh.  I think he thought I just fell off the banana boat.  Who pays $1200 a week for 4 hours 3 nights a week.   And the only contact him thing by text was the big red flag.  The whole thing just screamed SCAMMER!!

Same thing happened to me. Same story. Dave Connor, wife Evelyn, kids Sam 5 and Lilly 2. He took it a step further by texting that he would “secure” my services by sending $300 and he would send an additional $100 asking that I buy baby clothes for the baby girl he and his wife are expecting. O yea and their anniversary is coming up. Because they are on vacation, his cards aren’t working but he could email me a check. Check was for $1800 and I was to send the rest to the supplier for his wife’s anniversary gift. He did email a check which didn’t have his nor his wife’s name and the name of the bank he told me he banked with was not the name of the bank on the check. Then he sent me a picture of another check trying to show me how to upload through my  bank mobile app which had another bank name and made payable to someone in 2021.  Scammers are something else.
