got the call today.  left spanish message on my voice mail.

I just checked my email a few mins ago and had a call from this number on my magic Jack which said I had a voicemail but when I played it it was blank. So I just called the number and got a recording saying this number is no longer in service. But just to be safe I called from my cell and blocked my number, as I do not want these idiots calling my cell. It also wouldnt surprise me if the people who called us from that number arent also reading these messages. Seems like sometimes we live in America,The Untied States but our privacy seems to be in jepeordy!!!!

I got a call from this number on my cell and my Magic Jack today about 4 hours apart. .  Only my daughter knows my Magic Jack number.

This number called me an I did not answer it and the message said well then my name and it said to sargent rains how  is this fool vary mad I hat these numbers calling me

On west coast, number called again except this time my work num. No message left. Missed call on my personal unlisted phone around a month ago, message left: silence for a moment them scrambled voice with tv show in background(not scrambled, people laughing). Thought they cought up with me, spent night peering through the blinds again. Cant remember passing out but had the weirdest dream\nitemare. Was lying in bed but paralized. Something or someone, (i think my friends) busted in my room and put something in my chest. Would of wrote it off as one of those "once in a great while trippy dreams" but got a little concerned when i started to develop a lump. Sure glad i decided to google this number and found this site.  Its good to know I am not the only one.

I keep getting calls from this number on my cell; most recently on 27 August 2010.  I have never answered and never will thanks to the information provided here.

i got a call from this number and all i heard was spanish..no offense but if you cant speak english in america..go back where you came from.This america for GOD sake..

You are right about our privacy being slowly eroded away.
The Patriot Act stripped more personal freedoms including right to privacy away than people realize. That was just the beginning. How much safer are we for it?

It seems like I used to get lots of calls from this number which I never answered.    I guess these foreign scumbag scammers don't give up.  

Why doesn't Time Warner have a call blocking service??

Just got a call from this number.  No message left behind.  FYI, after I submitted my phone number on Career Builder in my resume I started getting calls like this.....

the message starts with a round of applause then they start talking in spanish.

I got this call the 28th Aug. It is a recorded message in Spanish. I only caught "oprime" (press), but not the rest of it. The phone number is invalid.

Reviewing the comments here, it is a scam targeting Spanish speaking victims.

Got a call from this. They left a message about stopping foreclosure. I deleted it.

I just got it 7min ago Aug 28 2010..the jist from what ive read..Not a debt collecter or a spanish sales call.. rather- a scam that is designed to dupe spanish speaking hopefuls with a North American phone number and bank account. If true, this is a reflection of my people and it is shameful.

To those complaining about the spanish - your ignorance allows this to happen. Dont be willfully stupid.

Here is a summary of the conversation:

ME: Hello...
Recorded Voice Message: you just won a $1000 price!; your winning number is 5; please press 1 to be transfered to the claim department.
Operator: Hello? (AREGENTINAN ACCENT LADY)
Me: Hello, I just got a phone message telling me that I won $1000; and I don't know what is this about.
Operator: Yes Sir; this is a $1000 price for hispanic families. Can you please tell me your name and the name of your bank?
Me: my name is XXXX YYYY, and my bank is ZZZZZ.
Operator: Now we need to validate your electronic coupon; please give me your ATM card expiration date...
Me: What?... I can not give you that information, it is not secure.
Operator: but sir, we need that information...;
Me: NO WAY!!!!

The operator than hangup.

I have received a call from this number both on my cell and on my work phone; no one says anything and when i tried to call back, i also received the message that this number is no longer in service.

I agree with msg below saying the caller is prbably watching this site.
