Blocked call which is unwanted

Received a call on my cell phone which is listed on the Do Not Call Registry since 2013

That number hit my jack yo

Answered call...asked for Patricia...told them it was the wrong number...he responds "Hey, well maybe you can help me..." hung up on him because I've had a similar call earlier in the year.  Phone scammers

Exact similar situation as AS.

Same as AS & JS. Asked for Norma,  then when told them they had wrong number, said, 'Maybe you can help me...' something about helping Veteran's,  which I would do, if they sent me the information. Don't take their call-they are spammers.

Calls a few times a week, I never answer. They never leave a message.

Just received call.   Did not recognize  and did not answer.      No voicemail left.     Just read this forum.     Glad I didn't answer

Just got a call from this number.  I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message.  Since this would seeming to be a local call, I figured maybe I would know who this was.  Called back, line was busy.  Probably trying to call other people for their scam!!

Received a call from this number. My phone showed the call was coming from Springfield, PA. I didn't know the number so I didn't answer...caller did not leave a message.

This morning I missed a call from 215-948-8548 - they left no voicemail, and looking it up here, it seems to be from the same group as a call I got from 215-330-5514 on 11/23:  Lady asked for a William and I told her she has the wrong number.  Then she started saying "well, maybe you can help me anyway" and proceeded to talk about setting up for a cancer awareness drive.  I hung up.

Did not get to call in time, I have patients calling me all day so I tried to call number back, always busy!!!!  Happy I checked this out, now I don't have to worry that someone needed me.

Saw the call come in this morning at 9:47a from "Springfield, PA" near Philadelphia. I just decline those calls and then check here to see what they may be. Almost always they are scams as others have reported so I just immediately block them on my iPhone, which is the most wonderful feature of this phone, I swear. I have dozens of phone numbers blocked just like this one.

A man with a southern American accent stated that he would like to send me a packet on how I could help disabled veterans who are returning.  I told him I do not provide personal information over the phone due to all the scam calls.  He was very polite and respectful, thanked me, and hung up.

sometimes I wonder I fa even need a cell phone. Get more scam calls than anything else.
