Said I won an all expense paid trip to Disney World.

Calling numbers on do not call list for "free vacation"

I received a call just before 10a this morning from this number.  I live in the state of Ohio and thought it was a friend calling my landline from their cell phone.

When the call is answered it is a real person, not a robocall like many scam calls seem to be. He asked how my morning was going and with alerts going off in my mind I simply asked what he wanted as it was obvious he was no friend of mine.  He then started to go into the usual scam spiel of "You have won a Vacation!".  Upon hearing this, I hung up the phone.
This seems to be one of NUMEROUS scam calls with the same spiel in attempt to get people to give out their personal information and possibly financial information for the purpose of theft... just with a "new" phone number that to Ohio residents looks like an Ohio cell phone number.

I since have used my  Call Control app on my smartphone and looked up this phone number. The app identifies this number to actually be a SCAM in the name of "Customer Service Dept." with complaints filed on the number and the people calling.
Please be aware that these are criminals whose sole intent is to steal one's personal identity and potential other personal information... don't give it to them!!

Since 800Notes does not have a Scam "Call Type" I chose to use "Unknown" to describe this call.  A scam call is not a prank! It is a criminal attempt to steal people's personal information.

Everyday I got a phone call from this number
