About 6 months ago, I switched from DirecTV, a great service, to Verizon FiOS, a phenomenal service. About 4 months ago, phone calls from (216) 539-3622 would appear on my caller ID almost daily. They never left a message. They never replied when I answered...until today! It was a marketing company for DirecTV. I told them how frustrating it was when they left no message or did not respond when I answered the phone. The rep said that they are not allowed to leave messages. He told me to call DirecTV directly at 1(800) 347-3288 and request to be added to the do not call/ do not mail list. I called and was delighted at how easy it was to make my request. Lets hope it works!

began getting these calls again a few days ago. Received them before a few months ago, shortly after switching from Direct to Dish TV.  After reporting it, calls stopped.  No answer when you pick up.  Called the number back and got voice mail for Power Direct, asked me to hold, had to take another call after about 15 minutes - probably would have been on hold all day!

216-539-3622 has been calling my number for a couple, It is possible that it
is direct TV, I closed my account out with them several months and own them
0-when my answering machine pick up they hang up.  Did you know you can get
$1,500 dollars for each time they call, keep the number and ask them not to
call you again, and if they do.  go to small claims court or file a claim
against them.  In Washington, DC  you can push #57 and this number will go
directly in to law inforcement for harrassment.  If might cost you a buck, but it is worth it.

I got the call, nobody on the other end but no dial tone either so I assumed someone was just listening to me say "hello".

I have been recieving calls from this number and have done some research.
The number is associated with Power Direct in Cleveland OH it is a telemarking company that is Direct TV outsources to.  I too have just receintly canceled service with Direct TV.

I've been trying to get direct TV to pay me the $53.00 they owe me for 6 mo. now.
I finally contacted the Attorney general about it and now i'm gettin these calls.

Been getting calls at least once a day. Started right after I cancelled my Directv. I called them back and got a voice mail for "Loren". Don't know if I can block but will definitely try if it keeps up.

Same as everyone else. I just got a new phone line, and keep getting called by this number. Just silence on other end. I registered at www.donotcall.gov, but it may take 31 days to stop. I don't know if I can wait that long!

I get the hang ups also. Whats the purpose. I am reporting the number to the NO Call list which I am registerd!!!

This number belongs to a telemarketing company called Power Direct. They call at all hours of the day and night. I have even gotten calls on weekends. When you pick up there is nothing...then after a minute it hangs up.
When I call the number back it tells you "You have reached Power Direct, please hold for a customer service rep" You get put on hold for up to three minutes then it hangs up on you. I can never get a hold of anyone to stop the calls.

I'VE STARTED GETTING THE CALLS TOO, USUALLY ONE A DAY. NO MESSAGE. NO GUTS TOO, I GUESS. IF THIS IS DIRECTV, EACH CALL GETS ME ONE STEP CLOSER TO NEVER RENEWING MY SERVICE WITH THEM. I'M PRETTY MUCH THERE ALREADY. I LIKE THE $1500 PER CALL IDEA. I JUST BOUGHT A NEW CAR AND THAT WOULD HELP. KEEP CALLING PLEASE! WELL, I HAVE TO GO NOW----TO THE DONOTCALL SITE AND REPORT ANOTHER CALL.  THIS ONE!  GOODBYE FOR NOW!

I have been getting these calls several times a day as well. We canceled our Directv service the end of March and the calls started not long after that. No one every answers the call, etc. just like everyone else. It is getting anoying.

call several times donald hung up on me when I told him about this being on Google. He had no idea what google was,incredible........then they didnt answer the next few times I called. I then spoke to Tessa and then to a supervisor Torie Escott probably an alias. They answer Power Direct and claim to be a subsidiary of direct tv of whom I was a A list customer. I will NEVER go back to direct tv.

I actually called the number back and told them that they had the wrong number.  The guy asked if I'd like to be put on the Do Not Call list and I told him I would.  

If you want the calls to stop, call em back.

I swtched from diret tv to time warner cable 3 months ago and now I get this phone number continually calling my home.1-216-539-3622

Called and hung up when wife answered she thought it was my girlfriend, lol if only it were so.
