Just got an automated call from this number saying I was going to automatically be billed for $99.?? for my Amazon account.  If I wanted to talk to someone, to call a different number they gave.  I redialed the number that called, as my  Amazon account is not due to be billed again until later in the summer, and not for the $99.?? price they quoted.  The phone was answered by a foreign sounding man, saying "Amazon Prime, how may I help you?"  I asked them why the phone call, and they gave me my phone number and my name (no surprise there) and when I asked them why renewing early and why the $99.?? price, they said, "Oh, sorry, a mistake, and immediately hung up."

this number called just now, didn't answer. left a message but I have a long message so all I got was the end of the phone number. Thanks Linda for the information. I will continue to ignore this call.

Just got two robocalls and only got the last few seconds of each one. One a guy one Lady robocall. the number was 216-539-3642. Comments left on phone numbers are the best method to know what a FAKE / SCAM call is about.

Amazon Prime Scam.  I don't even belong to Amazon Prime and they are telling me I need to renew my subscription!  The first recorded call was unintelligible.  I called back and spoke to someone with a Tagalog accent and advised them not to call again and that I have never belonged to nor intend to belong to Amazon Prime
