Caller claimed to be my grandson.  Received similar call last week.

claimed my grandson was in an accident was hurt and needed $. SCAMMER U SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOUR LITTLE SELF.

same- called my father...what is wrong with people???

Same thing, said was my grandson.  (Pretty good feat for someone that doesn’t have any kids!) I could hear sounds like table saws in background.  Made him repeat it several times.  Could not understand him very well. Hung up when I told him “I don’t think so!”

Called my parents. Claiming they were my son. Wanted 5000 bail money.

The number has shown up on my at&t call protect app 17 times between yesterday and today. All calls have been automatically blocked due to high fraud risk, so I haven’t received any voicemails. I highly recommend an app on your phones to anyone that doesn’t already have it. Many fraudulent/suspicious calls are blocked from coming through no matter how many times they call.
