Received a call on my cellphone, asking if "Carol" was there. I periodically get calls asking for "Carol", and they always turn out to be spam calls. Never the same number, but usually from this (my local) area code. Usually the person says, "Oh, well, I can talk with you then..." This time, I just said, "I don't know where you got this name Carol, but I need you to stop calling."

Just like post above, only my calls always come to "Bernadette".  My husband answered the phone and when the guy asked for "Bernadette" my husband said "she died".  Caller disconnected.  Number now blocked.

One of them robocalls that pretends like they're a real person.  they asked for the head of household, when you say you are then it just goes and it keeps talking even if you try and talk over them. They say they're for some kind of breast cancer research, I already support that through another organization. And when they ask if they can send an envelope out with some information I say no. Then they say they'll call me during the next drive, the give n opportunity to tell them don't call and if they're violating the Do Not Call list

Called my husband's cell and asked for "Neil" (not his name!).  He was at work and too busy to play so he just disconnected and blocked.  Surprised to see this is the same number that called me and asked for "Bernadette" (see post above).  Proof positive this is just another scam/spam caller.

In a google search this number had almost a thousand look ups and dozens of reports. Missed call. No message left. Blocked it.

I dont answer calls i dont know but this one calls frequently
