They call me frequently.  I won't give to Univ of Illinois at Springfield again because they don't appreciate it enough to leave the giving to me.  They want to call and call for more money.  No more from me.

University of Illinois. All they do is bug their alumni for money via email and phone. I'm blocking them. I also have a degree from the U.of Wis, Madison and they treat their alumni much better!!!!! I haven't ever paid any alumni dues but they never bug me for money; send 2 free alumni magazines quarterly ; ask for alumni news; send travel information for alumni; and send emails about homecoming, special alumni events, and online courses and workshops. Why can't the Univ. of Ill. do the same thing? If I ever have money to donate, the Univ. of Wis. will get it. I have friends who went to the U of I and the U of I bugs them for money too.

Called on a Sunday night!!  No message left.  They called before (no messages left).  I don't pick up unknown or unexpected calls.  I'm sure they are contacting alumni for money, but that's not the way to get my support.

Just said, "We can work everything out, including anything financial".  Message was cut off, but assume it was about alumni donations.

i'm not even an alumni! QUIT CALLING ME!

Called me every single day (including weekend) for about a week now. I picked up the first time and they just hung up without saying anything. Since then I never answered and they never left a phone message. I am getting annoyed and will probably block this phone number.

Caller ID says "Champaign IL". Called us at 8:24 PM (yes, PM) and left a completely silent voicemail. We never answer.

217-300-1704 and iPhone Caller ID always reports "Urbana, IL". They’re starting to call my cell phone EVERY SINGLE WEEKDAY EVENING between 5PM and 8PM local time. And now they’re started calling even on weekends, like this past Sunday at 730 PM—yes, even on a Sunday night! I feel like I have no alternative but to block this caller from interrupting my activities through my iPhone almost every day. My wife graduated from Northwestern University, and I can report--based on my own personal experience over more than the past two decades—that the University of Illinois seems to treat their alumni like dirt compared with how Northwestern treats their alums.

I can sympathize with your situation, as I too am constantly inundated with these calls.  I've donated many times to the U of I, and they keep coming back for more.  They remind me of a stray cat I used to leave milk out for every night when I was a child.  Although, the difference is I actually cared for the cat, and I knew exactly where the milk was going.  And, on a similar note, my husband doesn't have the same issue with his alma mater either.

We got a call from this number on 7 Dec 2015 at 4:51 pm, and it was blocked by our call blocker. The caller ID was CHAMPAIGN IL. This is a new number for the U of I fundraisers. Due to numerous such calls our call blocker now blocks are calls from this area code and exchange. I highly recommend such a device to avoid these nuisances.

They call me every day.  They do NOT leave a message and I won't answer when they call.

They called, couple of times, I don't answer unknown callers, so I now blocked them!
Do the same. This is just a non-profit fundraiser organization for the University of Illinois.

Alumnus.  Alumni is the plural.  You can't be an alumni because you're an individual.

It is actually the U of I Foundation, which is the money-making arm of the University, but not the University itself.  Anyway, the Foundation is one messed up place with capricious hiring practices and I no longer give to U of I because of them.

We got a call from this number today at 7:17 pm, and it was blocked by our call blocker. This time the caller ID was UNIVERSITY OF I. Please see my post of 8 Dec 2015. At that time the caller ID was CHAMPAIGN IL.

We got a call again from this number yesterday, 6 Jun 2016, at 7:51 pm, and it was again blocked by o0ur call blocker. Please see my previous post of 24 Jun 2016. A call blocker was well worth the cost to avoid these nuisances.

We got a call again from this number today at exactly 7:00 pm, and it was gain blocked by our call blocker. The caller ID was still UNIVERSITY OF I. Please see my posts of 8 Dec 2015, 24 Jun 2016, and 2 Jul 12016. They need to revise their robocalling software to eliminate numbers which block their calls.
