I got a call from hem but had read about another scam, so I knew what was going on. I told the jerk I was pressing charges if he did not stop calling and hung up. I tried the number back and it said the number had been disconnected. What a joke.

Wow! I feel alot better after I did the research on these numbers. I've been getting calls from these numbers for the past couple of months. I answered this call today because it had a caller Id name of Pearcy David, any who. The person I spoke with had a really hard core accent, I couldn't understand her so I asked her to put someone that I could understand. They claim to be from the United Staes Federal Goverment Greens Department, I was selected out of 1,700 people to rcv 7,000 dlrs because I've never been thru a Bk, felony,outstanding
good payer. She told me all I needed to do was to call her boss at 202-657-4837 his name was Cedric Faulker. I advised her that I wouldn't it sounded too shady & hung up on me.

i got the call today for $7000 grant money, asked what it was from he stated to pay my taxes.  
then i knew, so i freaked out about my property tax not being paid and that i need to call the county right know about my property taxes and investigate.  i was freaking out (acting) on this poor guy and then hung up laughing. becuse i know my taxes where paid.

The best thing to do is to tell the FTC (they handle the do not call registry and scheme calls like this one) about the number that called, get as much information as possible. I played along and got another number that I was supposed to call back, I will be giving them all the infomation I received, I will also be sharing it with the BBB, they can't do anything about it, but they do track it.

I got a call from (217) 679-2292. Didnt answer it in time. I called the number back & I got a recording saying it was no longer a working number. How can these people call from a ph number that is no longer in service?? Im sick of getting scam calls when i have my number on the "Do not call" registry!!!

got call and was told that they had federal grant money for me. Said I needed to give them my banking info. Told them I dont have any accounts and was told to call 205-419-8844 and speak with Nicole Moore to see what could be done. Called this women and was told if I used western union and sent them 300 dollars they would in turn send me the 7000 dollars.

I missed a call from this number as david pearcy, no message left then I called that number back and of course number no longer in service. Jack [***]

Got a call from this number 217-679-2292 caller ID says Tom Harmon, I looked it up and it shows it is out of Illinois (Springfield) area, even shows an address. I am on the no call list and they all still call me. I am tired of it. What is the use of being on a no call list to still get all these calls?

I received a call from this number today  217-679-2292; He also said I was chosen to collect $7,000 in grant money for not going bankrupt in 6 months. I said "Really" I knew it was a scam because bankruptcy is 7 years? Hello. So I told him I was 17 years old to see if I was on the right path believing this was  a scam. 17 is a minor and a parent would have to sign for anything. When he still wanted to give me the money, I said "wait a few more minutes because this call is being recorded and traced." He said, that's fine. By this time, I was researching on line to see if the scam was known. I then told him about his fake number going through a host so it is taking a little longer to trace the number because of the various complaints. I told him it takes longer to trace but in another minute or less I would have all his information. He hung up the phone quickly.

I got a call today offering 7,000 and asked me how I wanted to recieve it, gave me options for deposite transfers. I asked for a mailed check since thats how the government usualy does things. She paused and then said I needed a confirmation number and this 315-636-5329. I called it that guy asked me how I wanted the funds transfered and didnt ask about the confirmation number, told me it was 10,000 and told me ive got to pay 510 when I asked for a check. He got realy upset when I told him I wouldnt give up info. Total scam, they wouldnt have India phone ops. call you for U.S. Grants.

I reported this number and all the info to the Attorney Generals office. The caller ID came up "ameyo", when I was called.

I got  more than ten call from these  sheet  people that disturb  many people when they are in work when they are in collage.  i hate them,i want to say to them switch your mind,be a progressive person.block them  bye
