I received a call, no message. Probably phone spam.

Received a call from this number and there was silence on the other end.

Received a phone call from this number on 04/01/13. They left no message.

Called at 8pm, played music for ten seconds then hung up.

This number 1224-649-5526 is giving a lot of problems by calling in the night and prank calls example music and silence and they try to be scary with this booming noise

Called and asked for me by name. Claimed to be some after school-type group soliciting donations donations to keep kids off the street, or something. When I said that I wasn't interested they hungup on me. Caller ID reads "IL CALL".

Wanted everyone to know you can block numbers from calling you.  On my landline you dial *60 and then follow the directions to block the last number that called you - or you can enter the numbers you want to block.  If that doesn't work, search online for how to block on your particular phone.

Got a call from this number (224-649-5526).caller id said  IL call. I called back and it just rang and rang with no answer and no voicemail. My number they called on is listed on the notional do not call list.

The people doing the calling are using various Vet, Police or Sheriff N.F.P. Organization names and covers to shield their identities.
If you are like me, and turned them down when someone makes a pitch, they keep you on their dialing list and punish you by having the auto dialer call once or twice a day. This same number and other numbers they use, 6307481841, 8156878592, 6301846664 773-897-5612, 8473271917, 2246495526,  are numbers being used by some of the phishing credit companies that use the scam of wanting to lower your interest rate to get your personal information. It is very interesting that the call centers these people use are the same. Is it because they are the cheapest or are they, the owners of the center, in on it. Or are they using the computers to display a different number?
I have contacted the Wheaton Police, DuPage County Sheriff's Office ( 630-407-2000) , and the various Police Departments of the originating prefix several times. If you have Voice over IP make sure you talk to the Police Officer that handles Internet Crimes. Make sure you call them, if we bother them enough they may do something, it's not like we vote for Sheriff's, Mayor's, Councilmen, State reps and Senators, etc.
I have filed a Complaint with the  Illinois  Attorney General's Office. (312 814 3000) They are the most interested.  The FTC will only let you file a complaint they do not talk much. https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov
We the people who check these things on the Internet are the ones who need to be responsible to watch and report. I shudder to think of these people preying on my elder parents.
If all you do you , please go to the Illinois Attorney Generals Office  https://www.illinoisattoyneygeneral.gov and the FTC , And file a complaint, the more the merrier. And we can use this as a test, if nothing is done we do not need to vote for them.

Got a call from 224-649-5526 (didn't have my glasses on because if I did, I would not have answered)...no one on other end, no music, no nothing...to the scammer - your parents would be ashamed on how you turned out...and one day you will get yours.

Top & bottom same # so it has to be a B.S Scammer. Got this on 4/11/15 @ 2:21 PM CT on a Landline so * 60 time!
