I received a called from a 832 prefix, how ever was advised to called back 225-681/8314. Calling for a relative of mines several times a day

I've gotten this call several times over the last few weeks....  Same "robot' voice - same message!

Got same message as others are reporting.

I just received the same exact call. It did not identify itself as person or agency and told me to call them back at 225-681-8314. I have blocked the number and of course will not call them back!!

The phone call stated that I needed to call this number because there was a case being filed against me.

The call here came from a local exchange but gave the 225-681-8314 call-back number in the message.  It appears that whomever is initiating these calls must also be reading the comments here on 800Notes about the "robot" voice used to leave messages.  Because, for the first time ever, the message left on my husband's cell phone was not computer generated but recorded by a human male with no accent, a clear speaking voice and none of the artificial cadence or inflection associated with their many scam messages in the past.

Hopefully voice recognition software can eventually be used to hold these folks accountable.

Received same message at 9pm last night. I was sleeping and we down here in Louisiana is in the middle of crazy weather week so I was wondering who would call me in time like this. Thanks for posting the recording now I know I wasn’t dreaming

I received this call 3 times, late at night. I called it back and told them, if they have something on me, tell it to me now and give me the case file. Told me, they needed to put me on hold. I told them, they are scammers and I will report them to the proper authorities for harassment and scamming people. They hung up, I called them back and they don’t answer the phone, now. I sent them, a text message and told them, they called the wrong person and number.

Apparently they think my name is <click>.  Also, what's the deal with notifying about an address verification on a publicly listed number?  I remember an episode of Mannix when he asks the SF, CA police chief for address & phone # of someone he was investigating, & he pulls out his "special file," a.k.a. the phone book. It was worth a chuckle or two.

You are seriously dating yourself if you admit to watching "Mannix"! :)

This number called ten to twenty times day..I know it scam.I blocked them,then they start calling on a different numbers.
