this number is from a collection agency known as "ncc" or "mcc"

Received automated call-first thing they said press 1 for English: when you press 1 it starts ringing and when they answered they wanted my ex-daughter in law-told them has not been here for 10 years-she was very rude, will put down as wrong number. I replied to take this number out of their system.

Received a phone call from 225-910-6562, asked for the same thing, to press 1 for English.  They answered NCC and asked if they could help me.  I asked what they wanted with calling me and the guy hung up.  Did some research, the # comes up as a verizon wireless cell number based out of Baton Rouge, LA.  NCC Collection Agency is based in California. http://www.nccrecovery.com/ Bad Debt Recovery Services.

Auto calling that asks me if I am "Jeffery ____": click 1 for yes, 2 for no.  I'm not, so I click 2.  It hangs up.  And then calls again the next day.... and the next, and the next.  Try to talk to someone, they hang up on you, as others have reported here.  I tried leaving a polite but angry voice msg with the "CEO"... I think calls stopped for a while, but now they are back.  This is harassment.  I have the calls blocked now, but still I they show up under "Recent Calls", which I a nuisance I don't deserve.

A follow-up: out of curiosity, I just called again.  System said they were "NCC, a division of Commonwealth Financial Services".  I eventually talked to someone named "Nick".  Surprisingly, I wasn't hung up on this time.  I asked the purpose of the calls, he said to find (a name I don't remember), I said it wasn't me, and he said he'd change things so that the calls would stop.  So... we shall see.

If these people are in CA why do they need a Baton Rouge, La. number? They are like the bunny on TV that just goes on and on and on, they keep calling I keep ignoring it going to email um and tell they are not to call anymore. I hope they don't I know a lawyer that would just love to sue under the consumer credit protection act.

I also received a phone call this morning from this number. I was prompted to press 1 for English or 2 for Spanish. I then spoke to a male who said they wanting to get in contact with a first and last night I never heard of. He then apologized and hung up.

I keep getting calls from this number during the day while I'm at work and don't answer. I called back and the woman I spoke to said she was looking for someone I've never heard of. She told me she would mark it down as a wrong number but the calls continued. I called the number back and the guy just hangs up on me.

Collection agencies should identify themselves and they should remove a phone number if asked.  I am responding to the message that references my company website www.nccrecovery.com  We are a collection agency based out of California but we are not the company with the caller id 225-910-6562.  We don't have any caller ID that starts with 225.  We are not the agency making these calls regarding these posts.  Thank you.
