Got a call today, phone app said likely fraud I didn’t answer it.

Call back gets "You have reached ASDE survey sampler."  It goes on to explain that they are not "selling anything" and some info about calling.  Gives you the option to be added to internal DNC list.  Note:  message is in French at start but if you stay on the line it repeats in English.

I got a call from this number today but didn't pick up as I don't know anyone from that area code.   I am inclined to believe it's a fraud call as well.

If you had read the previous post by "Pudge" you would have learned that the call came from a survey company, so you had been randomly selected to participate in a survey.  But, it is probably best that you did not answer and thus not waste their time.

Yes, I'm sure that they want intelligent answers and not conjecture.

Robocall. Claimed to be conducting a "national survey" asking "one question only", if my household had a cell phone only or also a landline. To reply press 1 or 2 accordingly. The recorded message seemed to start halfway through the sentence so I never got the name of the actual organization.

Same call . Just hung up. If I don't know you I don't need it.

I'm assuming that is a question since there is no "?" at the end?  Well since that question has already been answered multiple times in this thread why are you asking it?

I didn't answer it. My caller ID said "Potential Fraud". Their machine told my voice mail to press 1 if it had a phone that was not a cell phone in the house and 2 if there wasn't.

Left a long period of dead air in voicemail. Likely scammer waiting for someone to pick up.
