Does no good to block the call. I get the same call from different number in different states every day.

Continuous calls from this number.  What good is the federal do not call list??   What good is the federal communications commission??   What a waste of our tax dollars!!!   I certainly will not vote for hillary and even bigger government when our current government is so ineffective.

I received a call from this number on 9:11 a.m. on 8/27/16.  I answered phone very assertively, heard noise in background, but call was disconnected/terminated on their end.  Caller ID identified the number as Cash Services.  I called the number back in 3 hours & it allows you to remove your name from calling list, effective within 48 hours.

Called land line. Left no message.

Same here for months. I'd love to find a way to stop them!

228-325-1038 Shows up as "Cash Services" on caller ID.  I answered and the lady had some line about my auto warranty.  I told her I sold that vehicle and she said "thank you" and hung up.

Block the call

Is this a landline if so they will never stop have it disconnected that's the only way.

And I have property to give away are you serious they are never going to leave you alone they have a live number which they will pass around to other scammers. 😷

Called me on my mobile and asked for me before hanging up. New my correct name, trying to confirm. No message. Called back and was given option to block number. Sounds like identity theft.

Scumbag called about a car I no longer have. When I told her it was leased and I no longer have it scumbag said oh I'm sorry and hung up really quick. Probably a scumbag scammer trying to allegedly sell an additional warranty.

I answer the phone like this  "(insert town name) police department. How may I direct your call?"

Yikes, I'd be careful with that. Could be considered impersonating a police officer.

Not at all a legitimate concern, speaking as a federal prosecutor for what it's worth. There would have to be a heck of a lot more to this besides someone using a generic city office namely answer unsolicited calls to even begin to reach the amount criminal code violation level. And even then, who's going to file the complaint and on what basis? I say answer your own phone however you see fit if all you're doing is using an office title.

Knew my husband's name and the make and year of his car.  Warranty extension scam.  Now blocked.
