231-224-2001 keeps calling my home number. Caller ID reports it belongs to a "Courtesy 101". I don't take calls like these. Anybody know what it is?

231-224-2001 Courtesy 101 - It's a fundraising company. They've called every days for 11 days. Tonight they called when I was home and so I answered. The caller said he was Bob Shafer with the Firefighters Benefit Organization. I quickly told him that I would donate and he was very happy. He mentioned $250 and I quickly told him that I was willing to donate up to 644 billion. Bob hung up.

Called my house.  Wanted to know if i was above the age of 18. They wanted to speak to my dad.  I told them i wasnt above the age of 18 and they quickly hung up.

Woman sounded like she was chewing gum. haha. i dont know if that matters, but yeah...

This is a new number from the phishing phone creeps!  They will call again soon, with a different number, location, and sales pitch.  
It is probably part of the "Heather" group.  For more info on this, google "Stop Heather".  This group has been in action for several years and nobody has been able to track them down, stop and prosecute them.
Contacting authorities, filing complaints and using a blow horn in the ear piece is useless against these yahoo's.  I've tried everything... Nothing!

this number has been calling for 2 weeks now and i Hate it!!!  Of course they don't leave a message so it always looks like i have a message when i get home-idiots!!

I have recieved this same call for 3 nights in a row now, each time the caller asks for a person whom I've had no contact or assocaition with in over 12 .. I'd like to know how these people get your phone in the 1st place.

Have called multiple times. Most times they just hang up. Today Feb 9, 2009 someone actually asked for me when I asked who was calling they hung up. I am on the national  do not call list and on their list (supposedly) but they continue to call. I recently moved and this is a new number so I guess I will start over again with an unlisted number which is a real hassel.

I did not answer it since i figured was a telemarketer of some kind.
So i did call the number back and it said

so i stay on the line and it then says please wait while i connect your call to 1866-408-5032

which then rings twice and goes to a recording for number not in service

They've been calling me quite a bit...as soon as I know (from great places like this) I just answer "Officer so-and-so"  They hang up right away and stop calling.

they keep calling, just one else said, they just changed they number and sometimes thier caller id, but they wont stop, even late at night. now their caller id is D1 SEG2. they wont talk by the way, what is the purpose of their calls? does anyone knows? i mean what's with calling somebody, and hang up on him??? to me this is just pure harassment !!!

They call and when u answer its dead air.   Its annoying.   Wonder who they are and how they got my number

Got a call from (231) 224-2001. Caller ID said "Bergen Delivery". Answered and nobody there. I'd like to think there's a special place in Hell for these creeps!

Get calls from these idiots who claim to represent the Kentucky Fraternal Order of Police. I bought a device that blocks calls and they only get a half-ring before they are cut off. The phone company or DO NOT CALL people are useless - they say its ok to call you for fundraising or that somehow you gave them permission, subscribed to some BS or whatever ... get one of these devices for your home phone or get a call phone that allows you to block any number.
