The caller said I had made a recent purchase from Vista Services that qualified me for free gas coupons. I was in the car and, assuming she was telling the truth, I told her I resented being called through companies I dealt with and hung  up.  I checked out my credit card account online and saw no recent purchases or any purchases from Vista Services.

Received two calls today from 231-732-3738 while I was out.  Don't know the number and if they call when I am home I won't pick up,.  I don't answer calls from numbers I don't know.

This number has called my cell phone 10 times today!  I want it to stop!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How are you set for minutes?  Are you willing to let the caller waste a few?

You can assign this number a ring tone of "no ring".  That way he'll go straight to voicemail and you won't be disturbed by the ring.  But every call will waste up to 1 minute of the time you paid for.

Thats how I handled the calls for Michael the Deadbeat.  My cell provider suggested it.

I've got the calls for the last two days from 213-732-2738 & 414-962-9898. I did not anser, but when I called back it was a lot of static and a message that the number has been disconnected.

I started getting calls from this number 2 day ago. Since then, I have received at least 5 calls a day. I ignored them, because I didn't know the number. I finally called the number back, like many of you, and was pushed to a voicemail saying they were trying to confirm shipping for my order. What order?! I haven't order anything in months! Besides what business does not state their name in the voice mail? I am going to report these people to the FCC. This is beyond telemarketing... it is a scam! So, be very careful of what you say to these people!

I havejust received 3 phone calls from this number asking me to verify my credit card number for something they said I purchased.  I too hung up on them.  Must be a SCAM, what I don't understand is how they got my phone along with the last four digits to my credit card.

This number called my cell phone several times today.  I had a similar situation with another Michigan phone number that wanted to give me a gas card.  Those calls finally stopped after I reported it.  

I called back and pressed "2" to have my phone number taken off the list.  I received another 3 calls after I did that.

I filed a complaint with the FTC last night.  I am also going to call Verizon my cell phone provider; there seems to be a connection between my phone number and credit card.  I would suggest everyone should file a complaint with the FTC

Yes I got this call too!  They said I ordered something online or through a catalog with visa acct # XXXX.  They wanted to charge me $2.95 for shipping of gas cards totaling $120.  I told them I was refusing anything being charged to my card.  They kept fighting me saying basically I was stupid for not taking the order.  I kept refusing for anything to be charged to my card.  There is another number they are using too - 616-980-1293.  Just say "NO" to these people.  It's a scam!!!  Please Report them!!!

this number call and let's it ring one time and hangs up do not know them please stop!

As mentioned above, this is from Vista Services, they also use the number 269-768-2624.  Called VISA today and they are not affiliated with Vista (duh) and that I should immediately cancel my card.

If I could ever meet these jerks in person,  they'd never call me again. Jack legged jerks.

Quickly call your bank and change any information they had otherwise you will be victim of scam

Yes, the recorded messsage says it's an order confirmation courtosy call .... reality, had you answered, they would have offered you $500 in gasoline rebates that you can use at any gas station.
That is where I asked what the catch was & the caller disconnected.

Note:  By calling back, the # you called from was logged & they will call that # again!

Funny how they never identify who they are, what their business name is, or anything else about themselves & disconnect as soon as the consumer starts aking questions .... almost like they think we are all suckers for the picking!

How do I get them to stop calling me? When I answer the phone, it is just dead silence. I made the mistake of calling the number (I have family in MI) and a recording went into a "verification" call. I just want them to stop calling me.
