- G.M.Clements Co., Inc.This is an office and this number calls all the time. I am the receptionist and when I pick up, it just hangs up in my face. I called the number back and it is busy.
- mikeThey keep calling and hanging up when I answer. Who are they....
- BettyThis number keeps calling about credit cards - about lowering an interest rate.
Can anybody stop this? - business ownerThis number called to solicit their "government grants up to 200K", I listened to the automated greeting till the end, and "pressed 1 if interested", because I really am interested in obtaining money to sustain my business-it rang for about 6 rings, someone picked up at their desk, and promptly hung up on me. Who is paying for this?

Do you mean they crowed like a rooster? - irongutsGot a call from this number despite being on the do not call list in Canada.
- irongutsIn Canada these scammers are calling with the message "if you are interested in saving mortgage interest rates press 1 now". Uhm yah I don't think I'm going to renegotiate my mortagage with a scammer I'm sure this is so they can scam all your financial information from you as part of the "application" process.
Avoid these scammers. I do. I just want the filthy hacks to be thrown in jail and for them to stop calling.- Call type: Telemarketer
- Dove1Until these loonies are caught and stopped, answer the call, ask them to "hold" put the phone down and walk away. Doesn't solve the issue but sure feels good to give a little aggrivation back....

- SeanI received a call from this number at 1110 PHX time this morning. A voicemail was left. The voicemail referred to the Tempe Union High School District's ballot propositions here in town. Mayor Hugh Hallman reads a script that tells us we need to vote "yes yes yes" on the ballot initiatives. The voicemail was paid for by the YES YES YES SUPPORT OUR SCHOOL COMMITTEE.
- Call type: Political call
- FraudFighterIt sounds like a texbook scam. The number showing up in caller ID's is most likely the THIRD PARTY telemarking company's default number.
If its a scam the people behind it utilize third party telemarketing in different states. If they call talking about "goverment grants" then it most likely originates from Clearwater, Florida - home of the king of fake goverment grants. - jay1-234-567-8900 called to my Toronto phone oct 9th 2008 at 12 noon.
