Never answer but calls relentlessly.

Scammer.  Their still at it.

Identical experience as most folks here but I had some fun with this, read on, its worth it :)  Guy cold calls me and was friendly, knew the exact house address, and knew my correct name. He said "they <- [never told me who "they" were] are in my area doing free roof inspections" and wanted to know "if I would be home tomorrow and wanted to take a look for any damage" I let him ramble on about some other nonsense and I played along as an eager hapless sucker but I had an Ace up my sleeve. After a couple more minutes of baiting the scammer and pretending to be super excited & ready to make a deal, I played my trump card. You see, he missed one small minor detail, I let him know at this point that this is my fathers house (my childhood home). I do not live there. I do not own that house. I thought he would be pissed and hang up but incredibly he said  "they could still do a free roof inspection" <- (at a house I never owned or live at any longer). After I didnt bite he switched gears and said "Ohhhh I see what happened..., oops your right, i have the names mixed up" and asked if I lived in Naples, he told me "they would come out and inspect my roof for free" I was done fu**ing around at this point and had my fun so I lied and said I had moved to Layne Cobain, Washington in Kurt Staley county (kids of the 90's [me included] would understand this joke). Scammer dude instantly turned into an [***], said some swear words in Spanish and hung up on me.
    My point? If this number calls you, tell them you live in some magical made up place, anywhere but Florida. They will hang up immediatly and not bother with you again :) Hope this helps anybody who keeps getting calls from this moron.

Foreign accent calling from boiler room. Scam on roof. Florida has a bad consumer law that says you let them in you have a contract for their services.

blocked, I wouldn't even answer to waste their time, (although it did sound like fun [above post] ) it just tells the true idiots there is a working phone number and some other scammer will use it....

trying toi come to my house for roof inspection. after saying I have a new roof, no thank you..he kept pushing I hung up.

Some joker named John from Florida services called asking for me by name but wanting to talk to me reagarding my home then gave an address for my business when I said you got your info wrong what’s this about he stated oh then I need to speak to the owner when I sighed the joker hung up. A real scammer have blocked  the number
