Just received a call from this number stating I won grant money from the government for $9,000.00. I can go to the Western Union to get the money in hand or put on my debit or credit card. Was I born yesterday or what. I don't know who this people are. I asked the man for information stating I won he said they don't give out information.
The number that showed up on my cell was: (202) 506-5346.

He gave me a number for his manager: 239-244-3962.

Think this is a scam.

I received the same call from 202-506-1967 and was advised that I qualified for a 9k government grant.  I was given a verification number and advised to call 239-244-3962 for release of funds.  I called and asked some questions and they got very rude with me.  I was asked to pay 210 dollars for the verification process in which was refundable after verified.  I told them to take the 210 out of the 9k and they stated they could not do it because the grant was for 9000 dollars even.  Main problem that I has was of the three individuals I spoke with couldn't hear or speak good English!!!!  SCAM Scam SKAM!!!!!!

239-244-3962 is a number that I was asked to call in order to get U.S. Government "Grant Money."  I was advised that I qualified for a $8,000 Government Grant.  I was given a verification number ( "ID# = MC406" ) and advised to call 239-244-3962 for release of funds.  I was to talk to a Shanerl Paton.  I called and asked some questions and they got very rude with me.  I was asked to pay $210.00 dollars for the verification process in which was refundable after verified.  I told them to take the $210.00 out of the 8,000 and they stated they could not do it because the grant was for 8,000 dollars even.  Main problem that I had was of the three individuals I spoke with couldn't hear or speak good English!!!!  I think this is a SCAM!!

I just received the same call say gov't was giving $9,000 dollars because I won a grant from the Gov't. That I was not arrested in the past 6 months and that I qualify for this grant.
he wanted to put it in my personal account or cash in hand.  

   
Granted the Gov't does give many grants but you must apply for them in order to receive any money and there are billions to be had if you fill out the forms. They would never simply call anybody and say here is some money. This is a scam for people to give out their account number so they can clean out your account. SCAM! SCAM! SCAM!!

Just received a call from  202-506-1967  saying my name and number had been selected to receive a $9000 federal grant. I spoke to a gentleman who claimed his name is "Oliver Hann" I searched the name and was unable to find it. He gave me the number  239-244-3962  and a confirmation number to call to the account manager's phone. Per the male caller his manager's name is Anna. I asked what kind of questions they would ask me when I called the number and he continued to repeat the activation number to me and insisted that I call today. I have learned from the past that if the government is going to send you money that wont call you, they will just deposit it, or send you a check with a government seal. It was a little surprising to me to get a number from the government that is not based in DC. I called the number he gave me and the first time it hung up on me, the second time I called it just keeps ringing. Complete scam. Beware of anyone who claims they are from the US Federal Grants Department.

I just received a call from Danny Johnson at (202) 506-1967 asking me to call Anna Porcha at (239) 244-3962; ID# FD151 letting me know that I won $9k from the United States Federal Government Grants Department for being a loyal customer to paying my bills on time etc.  I asked for a website and he gave me:  www.usausgovtgrant.org.

Sounds fishy to me!

I also just received a call stating I won a $9,000 grant from the Federal Government because I paid my bills on time and had not filed for bankruptcy. The man stated he was calling from Washington D.C. and he gave me the number 239.244.3962 to call to claim the money, a claim ID#, and to ask for Anna Porcha. I believe that anything that sounds "too good to be true" is usually NOT true! As would be said by Internet Sensation Sweet Brown: "Aint nobody got time fa' that!!!"

i got a call from 239 244 3962 saying i won a 9000k grant is this for real has anyone ever recieved this money if so reply back to me.

The representative James Brown, said I won a $9,000 Government Grant. He gave me a grant #, and told me to call 239-244-3962 to verify my winning grant # to make sure I was the correct person. Also to verify my account information...

Received a call from 202-506-1967 saying with US Federal Government Department of Grants.  Total scam - told him I wasn't interested.  Then called the # back which comes back as disconnected.

Darn it ya'll. I was planning a trip with my 9K. lol
Why do they have to do this? I wish the gov't would just go and shut them down when they are told this is happening. Quickly, not a year down the road after many gullible people have been bilked out of their money.......

Received my call today from 202-506-1979. Was told to call 239-244-3962 and ask for Oliver Holmes. I was supposed to call right after I hung up. Guess I'm too slow.

Received a call from 202-506-1967 from someone (foreign accent which could not be understood and wouldn't identify himself) who says they are representing the government to present me with $9000 free and clear of taxes because I hadn't a criminal record. I'm sorry the government is not going to give me free money just because. Told him it was a hoax and had to be a catch somewhere. He gave me an ID# and to call 1-239-244-3962. I would be talking to Oliver Holmes. Not that stupid. Tried to get name of who he was and company ID. He wouldn't give me his name and said it was the government. Wrong answer. Internet research found that I wasn't the only one that received this phone call. So it's time to report as spam/hoax.
