Aspen Home Improvement is who it is

Received a call today from this particular phone number on 2/21/2015 @ 2:15 PM and Caller ID displayed "Frederick Md 240-225-0242" and as usual no VM was left. Only one post so far on this site says that it's "Aspen Home Improvement". I'm wondering if it's the F.O.P.'s calling again seeking donations as a lot of thier calls come from the "Aspen Hill, Bethesda, Frederick" area of MD and are now using a new type of gimmick to get individuals to answer their phones.

And the F.O.P.'s are also famous for not leaving a VM either and they will also call you multiple times on any given day, regardless if it's day or night including on the weekends too.

Just received a call from this number.  Unless they are buying me a new house, I don't see the need to pay for home improvements.  I'm good

Bogus! Scammers, do not answer.  Just ignore this persistent scammer.

A call back to this number confirms that it is Stephen from the Fraternal Order of Police, which is a total scam.  I have relatives who are cops and they have insisted that the real FOP never uses cold-calling techniques to raise funds.  Stephen (if that's his real name) is nothing more than a lowlife criminal trying to steal your credit card info.  Never answer calls from unfamiliar numbers!!

These jokers call frequently and never leave a message.  Very annoying.

Claims to be from the fraternal order of the police.  I love the police but doubt if the caller is legitimate.

Ugh, another one of these repeat callers with the V + multiple number code for a name on CID, which immediately indicates some type of fraud call for me. They've called 3 times in as many days. From recently helpful posts above, I see it's the FOP scammers, who seem to be especially busy this time of year.
Pretty much a charity scam, definitely ignore it.

CID Frederick MD. In Feb 2015 got a call from this number with a CID of Aspen Home Improvement, didn't leave a message. Must have been reported as a scam since my free automated call blocking service blocked it.

I told that stephen  guy if he call my house again I would find him, and have the real police give him a vist.

Call all the time, and say the call is being recorded - it is FOP scammers. I don't answer unknown calls  anymore. They should be charged with harassment..
