I was call by another number to call this number and ask fire Margaret and to give her a two letters and three numbers to give her and I get $7000.00 dollars for a grant sorry this sounds like a scam

I got a call yesterday from a different number saying I will be getting 9000 from the government I don't have to pay them back I have to activate it and call this number and they will send it on my credit card  I ask him why he didn't send it to me by the mail he ignored my question I'm like this a scam

They called me from a different number and told me me to call this number 240-232-2251 and this is supposedly my id number 342 and that  i dont have a criminal record and the grovnerment chose me or whatever i dont think this real i already got and email this isnt the first time but if this was really important then they would send it through mail

I was called by another number, (202) 243-000, they said since I don't have a criminal background and I pay my bills on time that I will receive $10,000 and that I have to call Amanda at this phone number (240) 232-2251, thought it was a little strange that I didn't get a letter, so I called her back and she stated that I need to pay up front a registration fee of $210 and I will get $10,210 wired to me through Western Union, but I have to call her back when I get to Western Union for more directions of what to do. The other number that called me, a DC number  (202) 243-000 is out of service.

Yep the same thing happen to me

Yes for sure it's a definite scam as they call me pretty much every day from the DC number 202-243-0000 and when you call that number it's not valid, then when you call the number 240-232-2251 they wanted to give me $7000 and to pay a one time registration fee of $210.00 which I will get back with my Western Union wire and I told her I will not pay money to get money there isn't sense in and I know you'll keep the $210.00 and all of this is a ploy to get that $210.00 in which you I won't get the $7000 nor the $210.00 back..............it's all a scam!!

I received the same call from the same number and same return number as above. I am currently in the process of reporting them to the federal police at my duty station.
