Scam................. left massage to call back claims to be from IRS the number is 240-252-5241

Received an automated message on my voicemail saying I must call the 'IRS Hotline" before action is taken against "your name".  It seemed very vague that the system calling could not identify the person it was trying to reach.  I have never recieved a bill or other notification from the IRS.  Out of curiosity, I called the number today and got a live person on the 2nd ring.  I don't think the IRS has the resources to just stand by waiting to pick up my call immediately, no matter what kind of hotline.
I listened to my gut that this was a scam and started researching.  I found some very useful information at this link - the actual IRS site.
