IRS recording

That is a scam call.

The voicemail claimed that this was their final attempt to reach me and to call back at the number they listed to speak with a federal agent. I wish there was a way to report these frauds.

I got the same call twice in a 20 minute period.  Claimed it was the final attempt to contact me and to call and speak to a federal agent.

Of course it's a scam - it's a well-known one.

Called and said they were IRS.  Have contacted the Travis County District Attorney

Like this is how the IRS would contact anyone in a criminal case. Besides, there was never an initial attempt. Besides, I have not done anything wrong.

same thing. Asked what it was in regards to and they hung up.  Scam!

Scam, if it was the IRS, they would send any notice through the mail.  Even if it's a Summons, an attorney would bring it to your house, not threaten you.

Got a message from the "IRS" to call back this #. Called back knowing it's a scam. Jamaican man saying he's the IRS and wanted my information. I asked a few questions that he didn't answer but kept saying speak up I can't hear you. I then asked if this was a scam. He told me to F' off and not call back. Ummm OK. LOL

I looked up this number on my caller id. Called them back , stated to the individual with a strong Indian accent that I was on to him. He told to f**k off. When I asked him why was he using such language, he stated he was out of his mind. LOL

Got home from work to my lovely woried girlfiend who thought she was going to jail. I asked y? She said that the irs called and said she was a fraud and owes $90,000 in back taxes. She had already called the authoritys.
Jumping at the opportunity to cus someone out, i wasted 0 time getting the foriner on the telly. We called each other names after threatening one another for about 5 mins.( just getting started )
After 5 mins or so of me making fun of his foren accent he started to repeat CHANG YOUR NUMBER after everything i siad. Except it sounded more like CHIN UR NMBR. LOFL I laughed so loud in his ear that i almost peed myself. Just dont give out your info but through it right back to them. I straight up harassed them today.

Obvous b.s. scam! Number is now blocked.

This scared the pee out of me. I'm glad to see in the above comments that it's BS.

This number is saying unless I want to appear in front of a magistrate judge or grand jury I must call a federal agent back. I call the number and it says all lines are busy to try later. It's a computer recording not a real person.
